My stay at the Ruby Hotel in Amsterdam was excellent! The location couldn’t have been more perfect right by the train and in a safe, cute neighborhood that made it easy to get around. The hotel itself was stylish, comfortable, and had a great vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

I really love this hotel! It’s very eco-friendly, comfortable, and smells great. The design is so stylish, and I truly enjoy everything about it.
The only thing that really bothered me was the occasional light knocking sound on the walls throughout the day. It especially affected my sleep at night.
Also, the pillows were too soft for my preference.
If I have the chance, I’d love to stay here again, but I hope the knocking sound won’t happen next time.

Overall the hotel has a really cool design, the room is spacious, the amenities especially the shower gel and shampoo smelled maginificiant.
However throughout the 3 nights I stayed there, there were constantly ‘knocking sounds’ on the wooden wall behind the bed which made falling asleep difficult. Told the reception about the situation and was told this happened very often and they had no idea on the solution.
The other thing was that I sent an email to the hotel, the response was so slow that I didn’t receive a reply until the day I checked in which was pretty disappointing.

This is a self check in/out- very limited interaction with any type of customer service
If you are into the “hipster” vibes this is the hotel for you. Also bring your own face cloth cause they only provide towels

I booked a cozy room for my stay but it didn’t look like the picture. I didn’t have a sofa or a working station table. Instead I got a circle table with two chairs. My stay at room 416 was ok. When I turned off the light, around the door area kept making a clicking sound the entire time I was in the room. For a light sleeper, it was really annoying. Also, the room wasn’t sound proof. I could hear people talking outside the hallway which disturb my sleep. Overall, definitely get away from the lower floors since it has the communal area where people can get coffee and tea.

I really love this hotel! It’s very eco-friendly, comfortable, and smells great. The design is so stylish, and I truly enjoy everything about it.
The only thing that really bothered me was the occasional light knocking sound on the walls throughout the day. It especially affected my sleep at night.
Also, the pillows were too soft for my preference.
If I have the chance, I’d love to stay here again, but I hope the knocking sound won’t happen next time.
