Such a quaint Hotel, away from the high rises. The staff was very accomodating, helpful to answer all of our questions, and took time to make us feel like we were the only guests there for our week long stay.The staff would offer their honest opinion to us about activities and choices for dining. Eugene, Elizabeth, at the front desk, helped us out a great deal, explained things to our many questions. The room was comfortable, AC worked non stop, and we felt like we were home. We would definately rebook a stay here at Talk of the Town when we return to Aruba.

Talk of the town is affordable, clean well kept and in a great part of town. I definitely go back there.

Great place , staff very friendly but the room needs improvements mirror needs to be change no paper cup in the room a/c works perfectly but need to improve because no remote you actually have to get up & turn it on & off

We moved up our flight and needed a place to stay for one night. Would plan to stay HERE next time!

Absolutely loved our 2 week stay at TOTT! Staff were all amazing and loved the beach across the road. Very short walk to shopping and restaurants. Huge shout out to Marjorie in the restaurant, always has a huge smile and friendly wave!

We booked a 7 night stay here from Friday to Friday as we had read good reviews on this place, but we were extremely disappointed from the first day as there was a strong smell of mould as soon as we entered the room! We thought it would go away but the next day we noticed a lot or mould especially inside the bathroom door. We called the manager who inspected the room and agreed there was mould. They told us they would give us another room so we packed up our things and waited for over an hour but no one came back to us. We decided to have lunch while we waited and sat in the dining area,but no one came to take our order either, so we left and went into town for lunch. We left our email and phone contacts so they could let us know when our new room was ready but no one contacted us! We got back up the hotel hours later and was given another ground floor unit right next to the main road,but it was so noisy we could not sleep! Both my husband and I had come down with a flu just before our trip and we could still smell mould in the new room which we felt was making us even sicker. Finally on Wednesday we decided to check out of the hotel and was told that we could not get any refund on the room. We booked the remaining 2 nights in another hotel and had to pay over $1,000.00 for the room, but it was worth it to have a clean room and finally enjoy a good nights sleep. That was our first and last time at TOTT as it was a horrible experience and we certainly will not be going back!

Location is near to airport (less than 2 Kms, falls in to Zone 1, taxi will costs between $12 to $18). Opp to this hotel are Reflections beach club, Bare foot beach club, other restaurants and Aruba sign board. Market place is walking distance (less than 1 Km, where lot of shopping and restaurants). Hotel is well maintained and clean. Onsite bar and restaurant available, but not much menu options. Breakfast is available for purchase but has to add more items. Onsite vacation store, so you can book tours and rental car etc. Swimming pool is also cleanly maintained.

Convenient to the airport but quite noisy. The room had peeling paint. It is definitely an older hotel that is needs a refresh.

Good: very near the airport, nice pool, decent bar and lunch food, access to the beach is easy (and the front desk gave us towels and vouchers for beach lounge chairs), several excellent restaurants on the beach only 5 minutes away walking, clean and comfortable room. Bad: the breakfast buffet is horrible and not worth $18; no late checkout (which is inconvenient because many people who stay here have departure flights in late afternoon); the bar across the street is loud until about midnight, with lots of engine-revving by motorcycles Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if you arrive early for your timeshare or plane is delayed (our case!) Motorcycles can make noise (and planes).

Loved my stay here! Staff is friendly, helpful, cheerful. Breakfast was nummy with good variety. Bar has great drinks and bkfst/lunch/dinner- soo fresh and delicious. Across the street is beach access with many great dining options. Staff at ALL the beach restaurants are so happy to see you and the food is amazing. Shopping is just $10 taxi to downtown. If you want peaceful though-this is not the place for you. Airplanes flying over head, bars across the street-music blaring all night, and busy road with cars revving, screeching all day/night will prevent sleep-just bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. If you prefer room temp 60-65 degrees-this will be perfect for you. I repeatedly requested room thermostat be warmed and maybe they misunderstood-because each time I requested-the room got one degree colder so I stopped asking! I had to purchase sweat pants/shirt to sleep in stay warm in Aruba! So, noisy and cold, but the wonderful staff, great food and convenient location to dining and beach wins out I recommend!!!

Need improvement with the WiFi.

At 12:30am we could no longer take the chaos. There were loud motorcycles and cars revving engines. The parking lot across the street hosted parties for people tailgating past 1 am with loud partiers' and music, The police were called several times. We finally confronted hotel staff at 12:30am and realized the lobby was full of very unhappy guests with the same complaints. The staff proceeded to inform us that this is a problem they have constantly and are trying to pass an ordinance with the city. Why was this not in the top of the reviews and how was this hotel ranked an 8?! Additionally, there were dead roaches in the halls of the hotel wherever you walked!

Room was freezing!! Difficult to change temperature. No Kleenex. No face cloth. Limited charging options for electronics, one in bathroom. No hair conditioner or body lotion. Nice location and pool but probably won’t stay again. Breakfast Buffett was not good. Fruit was the best part.

The staff was friendly & accommodating. Best beach in Aruba only steps away as well as a couple fine restaurants nearby. However, there arent any stores within walking distance & the noise from the street( loud motorcycles, squealing tires) most nights was quite hard to deal with. Most nights i was forced wear earplugs to fall asleep. I dont think i would recommend this hotel
