Nice looking hotel but the the room had too much furniture and bathroom is too small. A bit noisy too from street noise. Staff were amazing - from reception to the conference staff to the food and beverage staff to check out.

Comfortable bed, nice lighting and well appointed room. Very professional staff throughout and check in and check out was easy. Onsite valet parking, which was very convenient. We had two meals in the hotel restaurant- and while breakfast was fab, our dinner was a bit disappointing. No hotel gym or spa. Overall a good place to stay, if a bit pricey compared to some other similar options.

Very friendly check in. We had a car and they provided a good valet service. Helped us with our luggage up to the room. The room was nicely furnished as a classic room it was of an adequate size. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner there on the second night. It was beautifully presented and really nice ambiance in the restaurant.

Super-classy and modern hotel in the wonderful city of Dunedin. Excellent and helpful staff! It was a short walk to loads of restaurants and bars in the city. We had no issue with plenty of convenient street parking, nearby.

Lovely hotel right in the city centre. You can easily walk to most places. Excellent service & the room was really nicely appointed.
The only disappointing thing about our stay was that the restaurant was fully booked.
I’m really surprised that no capacity is reserved for guests staying in the hotel - that’s the normal advantage of booking a hotel that has a restaurant in it.

This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful historic building. The restaurant is amazing and quality service all around. The only downside was the room was really lacking some amenities like coat hangers and space in the bathroom to put your belongings.

The hotel was nice and modern and room comfortable. The room was quite dusty, especially the wooden blinds. We paid for breakfast which opened at 07:30. Although we advised the night before that we had to leave at 07:45 to catch a flight and were told that was fine to eat, we found out when we turned up for breakfast at 07:20 that it was a la carte not buffet and they wouldn’t take our order until the kitchen opened at 07:30. We had to leave before our order arrived. Our room was also quite noisy, with the sound of the lift, the neighbours shower and also street noise, and we were on the top floor! Room 712.

Nice hotel, beautifully decorated and very clean. However, although the room was lovely it was tiny with practically no space around the queen sized bed. Staff were friendly enough but the restaurant staff seemed very stressed. We had breakfast on Christmas Day and there was nothing festive or special about the service at all. Reception staff were helpful although checkout was more complicated than it should have been!

The hotel was easy to find. We booked parking for two nights. The room was a good size. We were very comfortable apart from a window that rattled in the wind during the first night. It would be nice to have more than 2 teabags. It would be better to have two chairs in the room so visitors do not have to sit on the bed. Staff all very friendly.
