We chose this hotel as it was close and convenient to the international arrivals terminal of Auckland airport. The hotel is 17 minute walk from the terminal or there is a bus (chargeable). The hotel was really great. Absolutely perfect for one night. Convenient, clean, easy. We had a room for three people which was rather on the small side, but for one night, that didn’t matter. We took an uber into central Auckland ($49).
Breakfast at the hotel was a voucher to use at the restaurant behind the hotel - Jamaica Blue, which was really, really good. We had a great meal there - highly recommended.
Overall the hotel was perfect for a one or two night stay next to the airport and the price was good. Also we hired a car from Snap car hire which was just over the road and again, perfect and easy!

The room was very small, made to feel smaller by having a bunk bed over the double bed, but it is a perfect stop before an early flight. Just organise your bags before you get there! We walked to the international terminal in under 20 minutes, but there is a frequent bus at all times if you prefer.

As the name says, "budget" hotel. I was traveling single with a very early flight, so just needed a place to sleep for a few hours. This place worked for me but be aware, the room was tiny. One king bed filled the room with just enough room to walk around the bed. Had to store my luggage on the other half of the bed! Would have been challenging if there were 2 of us.
Also, they offer a $6 NZD bus service every 20 minutes to the terminal. I bought a ticket to get me to the terminal about 2 hrs before flight. Bus pulled up on time & said they were not taking anyone that time & would be back for the next scheduled time, which put me at the airport 1 hr 40 minutes before flight which i barely made. Very high stress start to a long travel day. Me: very not happy!

My husband and I thought this could be a good place for a stopover before a flight. It was basically a jail cell. Clean, people are nice-- but the rooms are dark and there is barely room for moving around other than the bed. Budget option if you must but highly recommend an upgrade if you can afford it.

We were quite alarmed when we got to the room and found that the air conditioner was not working and the inside temperature was 24 degrees. Due to a new medication I was on I am suffering with bad hot flushes and need to be in a cool environment.I asked to move rooms and the staff were so obliging and helpful. Thank you so much team
