Novotel Auckland Airport

I arrived after 1am and left early, could there be a smaller cheaper option of a room for such short stays? The bathroom nightlight was annoying and shone into the bedroom. I had to cover it. I loved how close it was to international and easy transfer to domestic this am

Place is fine and up to its standards. But I do not understand why we have to pay for carpark when we paying to staying at a hotel. First time I’ve ever paid for car park when staying overnight at a hotel. There should be designated area where car park is free for us people that have reservations at the Novotel.

It’s very convenient for transit through Auckland overnight with a few luggage’s. It’s a short walk cross from international arrivals hall.

Close to international terminal. Quiet. The shower water actually goes down the drain rather than into the floor. A first for hotel bathroom design!

I would have liked a option of light blue milk in the room and the jug hot water came out the side of the spout when pouring

Hotel is excellent and in an ideal location. We stayed the night before an early morning departure to avoid peak hour traffic in the morning. Was let down by a couple of things. Had booked a king bed but given 2 x singles. No issue getting it swapped. Had a drink in bar while they swapped rooms and moved baggage. An hour later or bags still hadn't been moved. Had to get a porter to get them for us. Ordered a wake up call to ensure we didn't miss check in and flight. Never got it. Understandable mistakes. The issue was the lack of concern shown when we raised the issue the next day and a casual, "I'll raise it with my manager". Felt they really weren't interested. Left us frustrated, which is probably a while lot better than if we had missed our flight.

A brief overnight stay after a long flight on the way home. Perfectly adequate, nice to step from the terminal to check in and on to bed for a sleep. Will be back.
