Hotel was slightly difficult to find but once we did we were very happy with our room, comfortable bed, microwave, jug, fridge, small TV and table and chairs.
Lovely staff on arrival, fast check in. We stayed in room 1601 and while compact was more than expected for a night's stay, very good central location for walking to restaurants and shopping, Te Papa and waterfront.
Would happily stay again.

A bit of a bad experience. Although parking is next to the hotel one needs to pay extra for it. The bathroom was gross, very damaged, no bathtub, dirty tiles, and very old. They need to upgrade that bathroom asap. The bed was decent. Not enough space to put luggage or anything else. I had a free wine bottle with my reservation, I had to ask three times for it. The wine was low quality, not even from New Zealand. A bad experience.

Great central location to walk between National Archives and Te Papa. If you’re interested in distance from Wellington Airport on foot it’s 22,000 steps (😂😂) Weigh that up with approx $36 for an Uber or bus ride if you can be bothered figuring it
