Leonardo Hotel Belfast

Hotel is in an excellent location. Walkable to the City Hall and centre. Close to the train & bus station. Breakfast buffet has a good range of items, replenished constantly. Beds very comfortable, towels in good condition. Room was very humid, we had a tall fan in the room which helped. However the fan was not clean, every time we turned it on it blew out lots of fluff & dust. I tried to clean it but just seemed to loosen more! The bathroom has shower gel, shampoo & hand soap in dispensers. The holders for the bottles do not give enough room for the pump action to work, bad design? Different sized bottle? We reported these issues to reception as we checked out so hopefully will be looked at and fixed. We would recommend this hotel if the toiletries were free flowing and the fans given an internal clean! Belfast is a great place to visit.

We enjoyed our stay. Convenient location within Belfast. Parking is up the street and a bit expensive, so keep this in mind.

Room was dirty. Carpets were staying with every colour imaginable. Dust all over the room. I don’t.

Dear Leonardo Hotel, I recently stayed at **Leonardo Hotel Belfast** from 8th - 11th for three nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. I wanted to share my feedback and request appropriate compensation for the issues encountered. The primary issue was the extreme heat in the room. Despite having fans on, the temperature was unbearable, and I developed a heat rash. This made it very difficult to sleep over the course of my stay. On one evening, at around 11 p.m., I rang reception to request water and ice. I was told “no” and that I should drink the tap water, as there was no bottled water left in the room. This felt dismissive, especially as other guests were still being served drinks at the time. The manner in which this was communicated came across as rude and unhelpful. Overall, the combination of the uncomfortable room conditions, lack of basic amenities, and poor customer service significantly impacted my stay. I have stayed in many hotels and value professionalism, courtesy, and guest comfort—none of which I felt were delivered during this visit. Given the circumstances, I believe compensation would be appropriate to acknowledge the disruption, discomfort, and overall poor experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and respond promptly. I look forward to hearing from you.

Ok. Room was noisy

The hotel had excellent standards, Teception staff were very pleasant and noting was a bother to them.

Older hotel, lots of construction in area (not their fault). No loading/unloading zone. Steps to traverse with luggage.

Lovely hotel in a central location.

Hotel was in a great position in the city. Close to every amenity. Staff were very friendly and acted in a professional manor. The room was very clean and spacious, again had everything you could ask for. I would highly recommend.

Location, Room size

Booked family room and i got a sofa-bed for two boys which was not big enough. Stains on carpet and room stank of cigarette smoke. Bathroom abit dated. Room supposed to be ready for 3 but not ready until 4:30, very understaffed in bar area and in reception. Breakfast was good.

We found a few little bugs which looked like bed bugs which was worrisome. I wish we took a picture. We checked the beds and all looked good there so we assumed and hoped they came in from the window.

Belfast has amazing architecture. Hotel is centrally located for walking around Belfast.

The supposed check in time was 3pm, unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel, the room was not yet ready. We were only able to checked in at 415pm. In addition, there was molds on the bathroom tiles. Distance wise from the city centre, it is the best location.
