Overall our experience was excellent. Nice hotel and lovely staff. What let us down at the end was the breakfast on the last day; waited nearly an hour for a bagel on what seemed like a relatively quiet morning. This would lose a star normally, but the extra touches here and there, plus letting us check in early, are enough to keep this to five.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, on a busy road bustling with people yet when in the hotel you could not hear any noise outside. Perfect for me as a light sleeper. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We came back from dinner to find out door ajar and to our surprise it was a turn down service, dressing gowns set out, chocolates on the pillow, water set out etc. We've just had the loveliest experience. This is how hotels should be run and how customers should be treated! Excellent!!!

Excellent hotel with real classy feel to it in heart of Belfast, close to main train station and great restaurants and pubs. A friendly staff and great breakfast selection, on-site steak house is top notch too, we will be back

We had a lovely time. Rooms are nice and clean, serviced in the morning and evening. Bed time chocolate a lovely touch. Staff very friendly and professional. The negative side of my stay was the breakfast. The can do better for a 5 star hotel in quality and presentation.

Dressed up like a five star without understanding of what 5-star service is. My least favorite experience at a 5 star.

No help taking bags to room at 8.30pm; had to drag our 4 bags by ourselves.
First night room air-con not working so slept in a sweltering room with no air circulation; second day they wanted us to try the same room again. Did not change room till I insisted on it. Heard another guest complaining about the same problem in their room.
Lifts rattle and shake. feels unsafe.
Very Slow Internet connection.
Asked for 40 min addition to check out time after a 4 day stay; instant response was 20 pounds for every additional hour.
Guest getting treated differently by staff as you walk in. Distinct impression from staff that skin colour matters for level of service.

Good experience but not sure I'd consider it 5 star worthy. Glad we stayed on a deal. I'm sure the hotel would have moved us if we'd have asked but as we were only there to sleep, it was fine.
