Had a great stay. The Clarion is in a nice part of town with easy walking distance to dining and shopping. Rooms are quaint and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel with great and firendly service. Well located. The entrance has some real old-world charm but the rooms are comforable and functional

Parking was a little far away. I was not offered on site parking. We had an interior room. It would’ve been nice to have an exterior room. All that being said the room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have a coffee maker in the room as well as a tea kettle. The buffet breakfast is outstanding probably the best we had in Norway.

Checked out after one day and moved to a neighbor hotel. The size of the family room was good. The room felt dirty, showering there the whole bathroom got wet. In general the hotel tries to be a "design hotel", but you so clearly feel how cheap all the design elements are....
Got a new hotel closer to the water and still enjoyed our stay in Kristiansand.

Was an overnight stay with a family of 4 so hard to tell about the overall experience with such a short stay. One thing was that we needed to use the hotel parking lot. When we checked in we were told they were book. I was never told to book ahead of time and parking in another lot was a slight challenge as we were leaving for the airport at 4am.

Room and furniture is ok. The only thing but very important is the air conditioner. It was very warm in the room and it was not possible to regulate. Outside hotel is a taxi station where the cars was parked with the motors on the whole night. You could smell the bad air in the room. Next time in the town I will stay in an other place.

Flott sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig personale og god mat. Eneste minuset var noe støy fra ventilasjonsanlegget på rommet og en parkeringskjeller som ikke er egnet for annet enn de minste bilene.
Totalopplevelsen er allikevel slik at dette har blitt vårt faste hotell på det blide sørland.

Fin beliggenhet og flott frokost. AC virket dårlig og det var varmt om natten selv om vi satte -3 grader på panelet ( skulle gitt temperatur under 20C ie 17) ble t aldri under 19,6.
