Comfort Hotel Xpress Tromso

Fantastic laidback vibe and friendly staff. Brilliant place to stay for the Midnight Sun Marathon. Close to the city centre.

Nice hotel and great location. Only improvement is that there is no regular cleaning service but would have been helpful if they came at least every two days.

The property was fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a Barception, which means hou can check-in and/or by snacks and drinks. There is a nice seating area in the lobby with different types of seating to relax or have a bite to eat. The only thing is they dont have any parking. We were directed to the public parkade a block away, but we ended up in the underground parking of another hotel who let us stay for 800 NOK for two motorcycles for two nights.

Great place to spend a quick overnight.

My sister and I asked for a ground floor room as we have mobility issues. This was on the corridor off the main reception/lounge/snack area. The Comfort Hotel was perfect for us, offering everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Comfy bed, tasty snacks, hot and cold drinks in bar area, breakfast pastries, access to a kettle for a hot drink, although coffee was available to buy. A very friendly little hotel in the heart of Tromso - small, cosy, friendly - it’s a winner!

Brilliantly located, very close to main things in town and easy to get to transport, sightseeing and excursions. It’s a budget hotel, which is exactly what I needed. The room was basic but extremely comfortable and all I needed. I stayed across the road many years ago and the noise from the nightclub on the ground floor was deafening at night. No such problems here. It was quiet and very comfortable which was excellent when coming back from a long day out and about. Check in and out was easy (self-service) and the staff at the Bareception were helpful. Housekeeping was meant to be every four days, but they never came in my six day stay. Didn’t bother me though as I’m pretty tidy anyway, and I think would’ve been addressed if I’d asked. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Comfort Hotel Xpress in Tromsø. Fantastic option when travelling on a budget! Would definitely stay again.

I liked what I paid for - my expectations were not high and I thought it was great value. Small rooms, suited me.

Hands down the best budget friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff and I've never slept better. Thank you for a wonderful stay I will see you again 😁

Booked this hotel as it was the most budget-friendly. The room (standard double) was very small and dark and the bed was small and uncomfortable. We didn’t spend much time there as we were often out and about, so ideal for a place to stay, but not the most comfortable. Location is great with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff and well greeting. Location is good and easy to walk around. Definitely going back again 😊
