Due to another hotel selling off our reservation, we had to scramble to find one. We ended up here. This place was amazing and over the top with service. Jan-Erik was amazing every night we were there!

Nice and unexpected museum in the restaurant

Lovely experience from the beginning. I arrived early and luckily my room was ready so I was able to have an early check in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Delicious treats, dinner, and breakfast all provided by the hotel. I was very impressed and comfortable for the duration of my stay and would certainly stay here again.

The staff at this hotel went far and above our expectations to provide us with the most enjoyable and memorable experience possible. From the members of the concierge to the food service personnel...we could not have asked for a better group of people to see on a daily basis. They deserve the highest accolades available.

Great experience at the hotel. Reception staff very friendly and knowledgeable. It advertised a "light" dinner but it's more than a light dinner as it certainly exceeded expectations 1 hot meal which changes daily with a salad bar and soup on other. They hot drinks available 24 hours a day and some sweet treats in the afternoon all included in the stay. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices and options. My partner is gluten free and they brought her bread and a chocolate buffet out for her. Great service for gluten free guests. Bedroom was very spacious and clean. Comfy beds too. 5 stars stay in a great location a few minutes walk to the train station. Would recommend highly.

Great hotel with amazing bar area. Dinning and breakfast buffet included. Only short walk to harbour area where a viking ship workshop is worth a visit.

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a safe secure area behind reception. The staff were very friendly, the lounge and bar area were very nice and free hot drinks were available 24/7. Dinner and breakfast were included in the price of the room which definitely helped keep the cost of the trip down. Highly recommend and if I travel through this part of the world again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this hotel.

Lovely hotel 5 min walk from the station . Close to shops and harbour. Great sized room. Nice evening meal. Loved coffee in the morning and Fika

Excellent staff , great breakfast and light evening meal. Perfect for walking distance to almost everything you would want to see.

The customer service was exemplary! She gave us advice, told us quickly the layout of this sweet little city, arranged a taxi for us the next morning and it’s an easy walk from the train station! The snacks, light dinner and huge breakfast were perfect!

A pleasant hotel containing a 'Whaling' museum which was obviously an important part of the Norwegian history. An 'interesting' 3d model of a whaling station is viewable!!! Breakfast was a good buffet. Dinner was included and was fine. VERY comfortable beds. The complimentary cake and coffee between 3 & 5pm in the lobby was a nice touch. Overall I wouls stay again as the staff were wonderful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast at checking in and gave good information. We left early in the morning before breakfast, so the gentleman in the reception kindly offered us and the kids drinks and snacks. Best hotel we have been to

Very nice hotel in a nice town. Evening meal was just right and they provided a bag lunch due to my early checkout
