Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen

the location is good, walking distance to most of the sight seeing area. The room is small and not very clean. Dont go to the sea food market, it is for tourist , they charge us over price for the crab.

Very good hotel at a good place

Location was perfect- right in the heart of Bryggen. The area outside can get noisy at night, especially on weekends. But, otherwise, loved it!

The hotel has an excellent location, good size rooms and well maintained and equipped bathroom. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of coffee in the room with a coffee machine and kettle, pods and sachets. No milk though. Post check out we did get an invoice charging us for 2 x breakfasts we didn’t have. They were responsive on email, apologised and refunded the money.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, hotel is in a great location in Bryggen, bus to and from airport right outside hotel. Very good selection on breakfast buffet.

The property was centrally located and afforded easy access to local activities in the area, and the train station was within walking distance allowing ease of access to tours and activities that were further afield. The hotel was clean, and the room that we had on the 5th floor was of a good size, provided all necessary amenities and the bed was comfortable. The only downsides in the room were that the curtain had come away from the rail at the top and the TV that kept cutting out and could not be fixed as there was no one on site to deal with it. Reception staff were polite and friendly, but information was sometimes contradictory depending on who you spoke to. Breakfast was very good, food was fresh and varied and there were plenty of options to choose from. We stayed on a bed and breakfast rate and were a little disappointed that due to an early departure we were told we could have a packed breakfast to go, but that it would incur extra charge. We felt that this should have been at no charge given that we had paid via our b&b rate. Overall the hotel was really good and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Nice property

Well located - Fish Market, historical area, shops and restaurants near by. From the airport two of us with luggage got the Flybussen which took us to in front of the hotel.

Loved this hotel! Location was perfect. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and very comfortable.

I paid for a superior room and got a room where the ceiling was so slopped that it made the room look very small. The window was small and the view was terrible. I asked several times to upgrade me but they refused.

Excelente hotel

It was disappointing to find that the description of the hotel rooms was inaccurate. Expedia reads that there is A/C “in all 342 rooms.” That is completely false. Our room was so hot and the windows only opened approximately 4cm. Parking was also very difficult and expensive. The parking spots are so small even a small sedan is difficult to fit into the spots.
