The Hotel was very conveniently located and everything was very close. The staff helped us with our Machu Picchu tickets to make sure we enter the ruins smoothly. As a result our visit to Machu Picchu was perfect. They also introduced us to many good restaurants and they were perfect and safe. Thank you Alcides. Truly a professional !

Was a nice stay. I felt that the bathroom could have been cleaner. Staff was excellent. Didn’t receive any Expedia benefits onsite.

Nice hotel close to train station and bus departures to Machu Picchu.

What an amazing experience we had at Casa Del Sol Machu Picchu. My sister had a small accident and fell hiking nearby so we stayed here so she could recover for a few days and WOW the hospitality was incredible. Alcides and his team were friendly and caring and they were beyond accommodating to our needs with a wheelchair. The room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the river. The shower pressure and temperature were wonderful. Everything we ate at the restaurant was as tasty as it was visually artistic. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. 10 out of 10 stay!

Amazing location. Great staff - came to train station to pick us up and help with luggage, arranged the most awesome guide (Alberto), and let us store baggage before and after the check-in. Beautiful views. Spacious rooms. Traditional decor. Lovely alpaca beddings.

The room was beautiful and the staff great. Breakfast buffet was decent, as well. The only negative was we were on the floor below the main floor and the short hallway was super dark and smelled absolutely gnarly. Like someone was cooking something that smelled like armpits. Thankfully the smell did not go into our room.

May was amazing! she helped me check in earlier and was extremely helpful throughout my entire stay. the hotel was very clean and quiet and i will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family

This hotel is located in the village with access to all shops and restaurants, hotel is clean, however it is extremely noisy… the train track is right in front of the door, the river in the back and construction right in front… the windows and doors are paper thin, you hear everything, it is like you were sleeping with the window and door open…

Service was great but there was a weird smell in the room and was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi.

Extremely polite and helpful staff. Accommodated early check in, very helpful. Staff met me at train station for a hassle free easy check in, also very helpful. Management went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Coffee/dining next to the river is magical.

this hotel had an awesome staff. everyone was courteous, super helpful and accomodating. we wanted to see macchu picchu but all online tix were sold out and via expedia msging, the hotel staff confirmed that there is a center that sells macchu tickets in person if we get to the city before lunch. the hotel staff even offered to accompany us to the bldg. turns out, the walk was only 4mins from their door. this hotel is centrally located and provides pickup from the train station, jus 10mins away. they have their own restaurant too and hav free brkfast and the window view is amazing since it sits beside a river. It also has a spa and massages were cheap. The hotel is beside a train track lined with other hotels and restaurants so it feels safe even at 10pm and its easy to find food. we also got a river suite and the jacuzzi atmosphere is marvelous. the shower strength is great, there are robes and slippers in the room and the A/C works well. my only complaint is there may be a mice in the roof lol. me and the husband kept waking up to loud, scuttling sounds. otherwise, everything was super perfect.

Highly recommend this property!! Service was outstanding and friendly. From Monica meeting us at the train to the restaurant it was fabulous. Had an amazing massage from Sylvia overlooking the river. I admit I am a hotel snob and they exceeded my expectations.

It was adequate but the value was super low for what you receive. Some staff were absolutely amazing— warm, kind, and helpful; but others were super transactional and not welcoming. Room and especially bathroom were more 2 or 3 star level.
