Bacuit Lodge

Location is in residential area in poblacion Room is very big and has a homey vibe. Aircon is ok not too cold but it can be a but hot during noontime during summer.but it is fine as most guests are on tour in this time Breakfast is usual Filipino type. Rice silog (rice, sunny side up, and (longanisa, cornbeef or hotdog) plus a slice of water melon. free coffee too. The best thing is the people.they are so friendly and accommodating Cons: Weak Water pressure on the second floor. Bathroom is quite small in second floor (but most elnido hostel has the same structure so it doesn't bother me) and Water has a yellowish color nd sometimes black particles can be seen but this is the norm of most el nido hostel. (i actually experience worse, when water source came from rain or sea. Or when water is too little that you will forgo bathing and just painstakingly collect small amount for brushing teeth or a mug amount of water for face cleansing, so no worries with this case). Remedy: i use wet wipes (sanicare, but any brand will do. just wash it first then tie it in the faucet) to filter the particles and color of the water. it works great. You will see that after sometime the color of the wet wipes become blackish. that's when you beg to clean it then return it or change it to a newer wipes (for better filter use at least 2 wipes altogether. P.s. do not assume that owner and caretakers will filter it. remember that what we are used to is not the same as theirs. they are use to the type of water that comes out in their faucet so they think that it is a normal occurrence.you can request to filter it though. staff in bacuit is very helpful. Also, since 2nd floor water pressure is weak,you can request for an extra pail and store water beforehand. For future use. The day of your check out (12 noon) and you are still on tour, Bacuit staff will also let you use their shower after your tour and will keepsake your things for you. Without extra cost. Over all i am happy with my stay as they make me feel welcome and treated with familiarity. I think that is the most important thing when you are in a local community

the room is very crowded and the CR is not cleaned

There is no electricity in day time and it’ll back at night. Breakfast is great.
