Las Casitas de Angela Inn - Matina

Budget room was too small but I don't really mind since I'm just there to stay for the night. The location was strategic, close to MTS if you want to party and hangout with friends.

the room was as good as expected, clean, neat, comfortable. Spacious enough. Staffs are very approachable and nice. I will recommend this place.

It is the perfect place if you're gonna be out all day and just needs a place to sleep for the night. The bed is of good quality but I hope you’ll have thicker blankets. The room was quite small but somehow comfortable except when you shower, the water goes to the bedroom floor since there's no cement separating the washroom floor from the bedroom floor. Their internet was down during my stay. They have very accommodating staff and the food is amazing! Eco-friendly, keeps on reminding guests to conserve energy and exercise by using the stairs. Near MTS where you can drink and chill while listening to live bands at night. Also near Mcdo and Jolibee Matina. There maybe some issues but I still had fun in Davao! Thanks!

You get the basic things you need to stay for the price that you are paying.

The room was too small and narrow for comfort.

TV was unable to access, I even asked for assistance several times from the front desk as it don't have signal but nobody came in. I have not enjoy my shower as I'm afraid that my room will flood when I do. I need to wait for the water to subside before I can continue to bathe.

Check in isn't as smooth as I expected. Front desk personnel are just chit chatting beside the the check in counter and didn't bother to approach me until someone notices me that I am checking in. They checked my booking on a wrong portal on their computer and realized it wasn't from booking.com Imagine the front desk didn’t know where did I book and didn't know which room I booked. And they even don't have their portal logins for bookings. Imagine that! The room is small. For this price range better go to other hotels with the same price range. Room is too small and the water from the toilet is spilling like flood when taking a bath. I wasn’t expecting too much for this price range but given than 800+ is not acceptable not to mention Jade Dragon Suites offer better room space and environment than this jail like room. Pillows are not comfortable and bed isn't that great again for this price its not worth it. Better yet go to D Morvie Suites for the same quality of room and space. Lift isn't working for the 1st floor so you have to walk through their long stairs to reach your room. Discrimination at its finest to their guests on the 1st floor. Nothing I can say positive during my stay. I'm supposedly be on a 2 nights stay and the front desk called me up that checkout is at before 12 realizing he didn't even bother to check my booking information. So I checked out earlier and will look for another hotel to stay. Not recommended and not going to stay on this hotel again.
