V Hotel

We have to upgrade the room and pay 10cad$ per day. Breakfast we have to order, limited choice everyday same.

The hotel was in a good location. Close to Robinson mall and eating and other little shops. Could walk to the circle at night and just watch the children play and the world go by. The hotel was OK but that is all. I did see roaches in the room and the room had no windows. Very small and not maintained. Coming in to the hotel it smelled bad in the entry and the pool was dirty and not taken care of. The free breakfast was good but small. And the drinks were very limited. But it was a cheap place to stay for a reason I guess?

this is my 3rd time staying v hotel i would not stay any where else when in manila all the staff are the best and always smiling and very helpful i look forward to staying with you again next time in manila

Lobby is small but clean. Location is in the entertainment and bar district so it is a bit noisy in and out of this place. Our room was noisy with people coming and going all night. We have paid the same rate at other hotels in Malate with much better experience. Ask for extra things you need like sundries and towels before you go to your room. The staff are nice and try to help but service can be slow. that was our experience.

Rates itself as a three star hotel but more like a hostel with private rooms rather than dorms. No soap to wash your hands in the bathroom, no hand towels provided, no bottled water in the rooms as you arrive, no trash bin in the bedroom, no refrigerator provided, lumpy uncomfortable mattresses, pillow covers that are too small for their their pillows, 1/5 of a toilet roll and no replacement, a bad smell from the plumbing every time you walk into the room. Ask for the manager and you get "The manager is not available." Ask about the lack of amenities such as toilet soap and trash cans and the answer is "We are are a budget hotel." Hello? Three star hotels or one star? DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Asia! Thankfully Hotels.com were able to refund my remaining nights and I got a REAL three star hotel at a cheaper price in a better area. Be warned!

Expect a noise every night as there is a club nearby.

The room should undergo a total renovation and that goes to the beddings too. The bathroom has no bidet and a dipper to use. Sanitary kit pertains to a very small bottle of shampoo and tiny bar soap. No slippers, nothing. We informed the FD and said dipper can be requested. We told her it should come with the accommodation. We checked the pool before we leave and looks untidy. We had our bfast and I asked the waiter why the food tray is broken and still in used. He just reply " yeah it's broken". I didn't have my coffee and finish my bread since I don't feel safe to eat the bfast. I don't think Hotels.com should still be in parternship with them. Very disgusting!

Disappointed with the swimming pool. Dirty and poorly maintained. Guest was asked to bring own towel.

Cockroaches found in bath tub, air con was poor and a strange smell through out the building. Positive note, hot water in the shower

I booked this hotel because I like staying in that part of ermita...i saw in pictures a nice roof top pool and the hotel itself looked quite new and clean...i arrived a day early and they had a few rooms available before the room I booked on hotels.com was available the next day ...staff were great they offered options of room and I chose one with a queen bed no window...that's fine I'm really not a picky traveller....more of a backpacker that doesn't need perfection...the room I got was just like being back in college!!!plywood cupboard...plywood benching for the t.v and my luggage .Ok bed but a super tiny room ...then you go into the bathroom and boom it's brand new....very nice and clean..next day I get checked into my suite and it has a great view of manila bay...nice and spacious....but then I notice the floors which are nice wood floors ..the problem was it looked like in it's life it had never been mopped or cleaned!!!!gross I wore my sandals the whole time...then the bathroom unlike yesterday's was a tub and shower from the 1970s.....no soap no shampoo no glasses!!!!now the pool ....its a swamp!!!!!Brown water ....garbage floating in it ...even a smoke butt cruised past as I was looking!!!i sat the manager down after this experience just to tell her about her hotel because it's important and she should know what's wrong....it could be a great place to stay..but it needs due attention....especially the cleaning staff who were a bunch of young kids...

Our overall experience was good...just please maintain the cleanliness of the pool and provide a safer parking place for your customers
