This hotel is a gem - everything about it was super nice and it’s evident that the staff cares about the property - attention to detail was evident. Also very nice to jump in the pool immediately after checking in. Stay here - it’s great.

Hotel Villa del Sol was excellent! We were in town for my best friend’s wedding in Puerto Rico and this hotel treated us well! Staff super accommodating and friendly! Housekeeping staff really paid attention to the cleanliness of our room! Everything was in walking distance and was a safe area to freely walk around in. Recommend for couples, individuals and families!

The hotel is in a nice area and it is about a 7 minutes walk to the beach. The staff doesn’t go out of their way to help but, they give you the basic things you need if you ask for it.

Lacked a microwave and coffee maker in the room. They did have them in the lobby. There’s no elevator but at least we were on the second floor. I have bad knees and my daughter is 7 months pregnant. All in all it was a nice experience. Everyone was pleasant.

The air conditioning was good and strong. The pool was nice. Also handy to have bottled water for purchase. We loved the Lechonera de Diego nearby for dinner. As for hotel, the bedding appeared clean but sheets are thin. The carpeting looked dirty. The first day we walked in there was a bug on bathroom door...but it disappeared in ceiling crack and wasn't seen again. We only allowed maid service twice--oddly the second time they missed making one of the beds. Overall just an OK place.
