Always stay here when working in Aberdeen. Staff are always friendly, rooms very clean and warm. Hotel is close to bus, train and ferry stations.

First there was no elevator so had to carry my bag up to the 3rd floor. This room was so small the door couldn’t open fully as it hit the bed which was against the opposite wall already. There was no room for my suitcase except on the bed. The shower was small but adequate in size, but the water was non-stop hot/cold, hot/cold. The walls in the room were not clean. The room was small enough that there wasnt a window, so no secondary escape in case of a fire. The garbage can lid hinge was broken so I had to lift the lid off each time I used it. The toilet seat was loose and wobbled around with each use. There was a TV and a little coffee cupboard attached to the wall, but only one plug so if you wanted a hot drink the TV had to be unplugged. The room was a bit too warm but no way to get extra ventilation except to open the door. Not really convenient during the night. For the good points, the bed was comfortable, and only staff I saw was at check in and she was very pleasant. I did chose a small room because of the cost and it was only one night, but I wasn’t expecting Harry Potters closet. The ad picture did not reflect the room

Staff was great—even gave me an upgrade to a room with a window (I did not realize I had booked a room with no window) There is no elevator in this budget hotel so climbing 3 flights of stairs was the drawback for me. It would be good to have this information listed.

Although not an impressive room, it is hard to argue with the convenience of it's location. It is right near the pier, bus terminal, and train station. If you are only popping into Aberdeen for a night/day, you don't need to rely on other transportation besides what took you to the city or what will take you out of it. There are also plenty of restaurants and a few tourist destinations all within walking distance.

Employee touched my daughter without her consent. When reported to front desk, they asked it not be reported, as it would make them look bad.

Good location, pleasant check in. I was given a bigger room for no extra charge which was a nice touch. Handy hotel if you just need a no frills place to stay.

Single rooms don't have windows and their ventilation is very poor (only activated by switching the bathroom lights on). Requests to change to a room with a window upgrades you to a double room necessarily, plus the extra £15 charge. Double rooms are just big enough for a person, and even with windows fully closed you can hear the chatter from outside. Beds are clean but showers are a bit moldy.
