Spacious room , friendly staff and the location is great - it’s just 5 mins by walk from the Waverley train station. The SPA was nice and The breakfast was great too. I was very happy with my stay.

The amenities in the hotel were great. The gym, indoor swimming pool and sauna was very nice. The location of the hotel was very inconvenient. Close the shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to the Royal mile and the Edinburgh Castle. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. We had breakfast one morning and it was very good. Good value. We also had the Sunday Roast at the hotel restaurant. It was also very good. We all en a very enjoyable stay at the Apex Hotel. I would definitely recommend.

스콧레잉 타고 도착해서 입구를 몰라 한참해맴.. 나중에 리셉션에서 그라운드레벨에 리프트가 있다는 말을 듣고 허탈… 이에 대한 정보가 먼저 공유되면 함.. 짐을 이용하기 위해 예약한 곳인데 오픈 시간이 7시로 너무 늦어 한번도 사용하지 못했다. 조식도 7시.. 얼리버드들은 참조.. 8시에 나갔다가 세시 넘어 들어왔는데 방정리가 안되어 있어 깜놀함.. 바로 방문을 두드려 정리하기 위해 사람이 오긴 했는데… 에딘버러가 원래 얼리버드들에게 불친절한 거 같진 않고.. 근데 직원들은 모두 친절하긴하다.

Quite a tired looking hotel. Greeted several times with dirty crockery in hallways. Food was nice at breakfast and a la carte menu. Australian guy and girl were very efficient. Restaurant was cold - people sat in jackets. The main thing that was dissapointing was the pool was freezing. No one was getting in.

Convenient location from the station (tip to use exit 3 and get the lift, or at the very least out onto Princes St if you have cases). Room was quiet, clean and comfortable and all staff were very nice, despite there seeming to be a lot of many customers around (if you don’t pay for early check in don’t be mad at people if you have to wait?!). The fire alarm went off one night, but that was due to some idiot deciding to have a 2am cigarette in their room. Both the sauna and steam room were a welcome addition but the ‘Spa’ very small. Perfectly fine for a short city break or work trip though! Breakfast was good, but the cafetière option was just filter coffee so wouldn’t recommend ordering that and just stick to the machine. All in all, I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel, with extremely friendly staff (particularly at breakfast). Good pool facilities and nice bar also. Perfectly located.

Had a great stay here for a few nights! The hotel was beautiful and in great condition. The location was great for exploring and dining out. Our room was located on a lower floor and it was very peaceful and quiet. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again when we are back.

Liked the breakfast

While the hotel itself is lovely parking was a real issue, no onsite parking & if you don’t have a mobile phone to scan for parking at the hotel you don’t get discount at car park which is a 10 minute walk from hotel

Amazing breakfast!! Our room was quiet and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beware there's no parking at this hotel. Parking is behind it and takes 10 min to get to from the front of the hotel. Ask at the desk how to nav from parking to hotel so you avoid lugging your suitcase up a bunch of stairs outside like we did.

Great location. Easy to walk around. Great staff. Only complaint the shower door was missing a water strip at the bottom, so when you opened the door the floor would get wet outside.
