Our bus arrived VERY early. The front desk was so helpful and worked with housekeeping to allow us to check in early. Very grateful.

Outdated building.

The location is great. Next door to the zoo and multiple bus stops nearby, making for easy transit to different locations throughout the city. Not easily accessible for strollers or wheelchairs (lots of steps to get to the entrance doors unless you go uphill around the building). Breakfast buffet was inexpensive but the food was not very good. Convenient but limited food options and the quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. The cost for the room was extremely expensive, probably because there were multiple events going on in the city the weekend we were there (over $1K USD for one room with breakfast). We did have a family room and that was nice, as we had multiple beds, which made for a more comfortable stay with three adults and a child in the room. Overall, not a bad place for a short stay, but definitely over-priced for the quality of what we paid for.

Great place to stay with the family. Directly next to the zoo and very close to the Edinburgh sites and sports grounds. Rooms spotless and had a recent revamp. Nice yo have a pool too. Will definitely stay again.

Restaurant food was great!

Upon arrival, our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We were tired and wanted to shower and go to bed but had to wait for someone to come clean the bathroom and give us clean towels. When we asked for some sort of reduction in our bill, they said only Expedia could do that since we went through that app.

I love this place. All of the staff are so kind, professional and helpful. I love all of the programs and services that they provide as well. The bus stops are right in front of the property so it's only a 2 min walk from the building. The morning buffet's decent, there's plenty of chocies for meat, I just wish they had more vegetables and salads.

Room stank of stale cigarette smoke, car parking on arrival very limited due to use of hotel car park as overflow for adjacent zoo, approach and entrance to hotel tired, unkempt and under maintained, staff in bar/restaurant very unattentive, and slow, room rate was over priced for standard of accommodation and service provided.

Excellent hotel, easy to get to Edinburgh centre by bus. Rooms clean & good breakfast choice. We parked when we arrived and didnt beed our car till we went home. We arrived early but could still check in to our room. Would stay again.

Had to stay one night while passing through and this was a good option. Very nice common area. Lots of on site parking

We liked the restaurant available in the hotel and they serve alcohol pretty late at the bar but the rooms were smaller than expected. The hot tub in the pool area makes you get out every 12 minutes for 7 minutes so it can clean itself just an fyi. Everyone wad very friendly and helpful though. We would stay again.

Lovely 3 night stay, staff are very nice. Rooms are not very spacious, but clean and beds are comfortable. though we had a room that faced the parking area, the trees around make it nice. Speaking of parking, there's limited parking at the premise, so if you stay over the weekend - might have to park at the zoo parking lot and pay a fee as hotel parking is first come first serve. Overall, very convenient, with bus stop to city center right outside the hotel - easy to get to city center yet away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel was under renovations so taking that into consideration it was a nice place to say and will only get nicer. The staff were very kind and incredible - would go out of your way to support your needs. The location is great if you only plan on golfing or going to the zoo but otherwise isn’t near anything (e.g. bars, restaurants, etc). Would recommend the hotel for a nice quick stay but not for a long period (unless you really like golfing or the zoo than enjoy). Ultimately thank you to the staff ! Y'all were great !

Too far from the center. Wi-Fi was not reliable all the time. Room bathrooms are small.
