Fine general but the toilet is a bit run down.

Unreliable wi-fi in the rooms.

Only thing I didn't like is WiFi , we have struggled connecting wi-fi and it took ages to fix the issue

The staff were invaluable! They held our luggage before check-in in which was so helpful. Highly recommend staying!

The staff were really friendly. The hallways needed painting and repairs were needed. The carpet was stained in the halls. I was so glad it had air conditioning.

The hotel needs to improve on cleanliness and housekeeping.

The bar not allowing credit card usage after 11pm was dumb and the nite of the AC/DC concert was a debacle wiht a long line and crappy food options. Worst bar experience ever after a great show, what a let down

This property is an excellent place for its value and its age. Staff are invaluable and courteous.

Lovely hotel with lots of facilities swimming pool spa and food served until late. It’s situated on the bus route to the airport and the city centre right next door to Edinburgh Zoo.

We stayed for 3 nights as a family. Our room overlooked the car park which was very noisy at times. We all bought ear plugs after the first night. You can hear everything from the rooms either side and corridor noise. The staff were helpful and breakfast was ok but I wouldn’t recommend it for a stay. Certainly not somewhere for 3 nights away of little sleep and the room was very tight for space.

Great location, 15/20 mins walk into town, all flat or 10min bus ride, various options all very frequent and cheap. Staff were amazing couldn't fault them, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was to much. The room was as you'd expect and although on the street side of the property very quiet. The food was standard to say the least on the first night, but redeemsd itself on the second. Breakfast was well organised and plentiful. The biggest thing for me was the pool and changing rooms, both looked very tired and run down, and could do with alittle tlc, but usable and clean. All in all and excellent hotel, close enough to the city but just far enough out to be away from it all and dead handy for the zoo and Murrayfield. Would recommend.

Perfectly located to the city - a bus ride of around 6-8 minutes to Princess Street/main visitor attractions/Castle etc - parking also available at hotel. The outside of hotel is not very appealing but once inside it is very open, well lit and decorated - lovely relaxing feel about the place. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable - would certainly use this hotel again.

Everything was great about the stay, except the beds. which are very uncomfortable.

Cleanliness carpet

Front desk staff was great. Super helpful and accommodating. The lobby of the hotel is great but the rooms don’t really match that. They are pretty old and my biggest hangup was the cleaning. Stray hairs and left over soap in the bath tub tells me the cleaning was lacking.
