Holiday Inn GLASGOW AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Wanted a snack on arrival. Everything we asked for “sorry we don’t have that”! Poor service. Ended up going over to the airport to M&S.

Our room on the eighth floor was clean but the rooms desperately need refurbished. very outdated. Other wise hotel and staff lovely.

I booked a premium room because we were staying two nights. The room was very small and with too much furniture, meaning it was difficult to get round without banging into things. The room had been painted in a very fashionable grey colour, but it meant it was very dark, especially as our room was in a dark corner of the hotel. The bathroom - again very small had not been refurbished and looked very tired with stained grouting. The internet was not working at all so we could not log in. The system was not working in the dining room so nothing could be put on the bill. The food was brought to the table by a young waitress who clearly didn’t enjoy her job. Food was standard institutional fare and the drinks were hugely over-priced - again pretty standard. This is a hotel that is used for people who just want to get to the airport for early flights and it’s positioned it’s saving Grace.

Staff are great. The hotel could do with a refurb

It served the purpose of being near the airport for an early flight. Small room and bathroom. Old facilities. Overpriced food and drink. But the airport is right there with a Greggs and an M&S for affordable food and drink.

I felt the employees were very helpful and nice. The interior of this hotel is abysmal. The carpet needs replacement throughout. The non carpeted areas are sticky. A decent remodel by corporate is extremely overdue.

If you're flying from Glasgow Airport it makes sense to stay here as it's two hundred yards from departures. The rooms are quiet and the breakfast is filling.

Hotel is located in ideal location and good stay for early flight. Wake up on tv dud not work and only found out could get wake up from front desk when I called for assistance with tv. Carpet in hallway do loose was difficult to roll suitcase down hall by myself. Fix these things and would be excellent hotel option.

Ideal for the airport only a 100 metre away

The room was perfect for what we wanted. The room was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. The room was clean and tidy, perfect for a few hours sleep

The room was freezing! And I noticed room service items left from one day to the next on the landing of the floor. Room was clean- needs updating and restaurant was okay.

Overall stay was good. Staff in restaurant were attentive and food was good. Stay was marred by receptionist who although efficient did not seem interested in assisting us as guests. Perhaps she’d had a long day…

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a charge to park overnight £20.but it suited us the breakfast was £10 extra pp. Well worth it book when booked room. Arrived late afternoon went to Alexandria for fish and chips 20 to 30 mins away eat on the banks of Loch lomond less than a mile further. Well worth the £111 for 2 in double room

We stayed one night on April 19th. Very clean and comfortable room. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice property just across from Glasgow Airport which made it very convenient for my disabled mum.

Only complaint would be no usb charging points in the room
