I can’t think for a better hotel for Edinburgh - this is my fourth stay in the city and the first time I was happy with a hotel. Very spacious room, large bathroom, comfortable bed and there is a kettle and a nespresso coffee maker that I could start my day in a perfect way!

Everything was spot on really from the Location to the friendlyness of the staff and the Breakfast.

Check in went smoothly, the ladies attending the reception desk were even able to accommodate a request to change our room type from a double to a twin. All areas we saw within the hotel were very clean including within our room. Very close to the Royal Mile and the Festival Theatre - only a couple minutes walk away in either direction from the hotel. Only downside was we could hear loud music late at night - a nearby pub or club maybe? Didn’t disturb us though once we were asleep. Enjoyed our 1 night stay so much, I have booked this hotel again for a short stay in the summer.

Great location - everything is walkable or there’s buses to attractions out with the city centre.
Room was a little dated. Spacious, but a little cold, especially due to laminate flooring underfoot. Some noise from neighbouring properties, but the room was adequate for me and was reasonably priced. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Quite shabby in places, initial room had damp smell and no air conditioning working. Moved to an acceptable room. Corridor carpets worn, bedding sheets very thin/worn.

Hotel was fine but very basic and for the price was disappointing. This was a budget price hotel sold at premium price - so if you are getting a budgedt price it's fine. Staff were very good can't fault them.

It was a good stay, however, there was no information at booking that the heating/ air conditioning was being replaced and wasn't working. However, a portable heater was provided.

The position is great, but the room doesn't meet my expectations. The room was spacious but not very comfortable, with a view facing a wall and a noticeable smell.
I think there's room for improvement in the accommodations.

No heating or air con system, only portal heater left on full blast in our room before arrival, making our room stifling hot for the duration of our overnight stay. Room curtains were also off the rail and the window lock was broken.

We ended up in an accessible room as this was all that was available with single beds. Room was very clean, staff were amazing.
Room was exceptionally hot and the AC (as always the way in hotels) not fab.

Lovely hotel, staff friendly & helpful. Able to leave luggage re check in/out, which is pretty handy.
Rooms very clean & comfy. Unfortunately windows had locks on them and our room was rather warm, otherwise good.
Breakfast was absolutely brilliant. Plenty of choices.
Would definitely stay there again &
recommend to anyone.
