The staff was great! The location was amazing so much to see within walking distance. Restaurants, shops, bars, historic ... everything. The room it was a good size room but the bathroom was this one piece unit. I felt like the toliet was going to fall off the wall. The shower was tiny so tiny I kept hitting the handle and shutting it off..was a little annoying. They dont really have any outlets by the beds; they did provide an extension cord but it only reaches one of the beds. The beds are a bit on the firm side. This is an older hotel the hall carpet is worn and coming loose. The lobby was a little on the small size, fills up easily.

Great location and staff carpets are dirty/marked up only one coffee station working and they forgot to clean our room one day. We put the marker one not to be cleaned one day then they just skipped us the next day as well

The property is good. Great location, and great Breakfest. The room had triple window panes - so was very quiet. Our room had gurgling water pipes and a sewage smell in the bathroom on the last night. I did report it on my way out and I sure it will be addressed. The staff were all very good. Would recommend

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very convenient to walk to Old Town, New Town, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, the train station/airport bus. Our only issue was that the bathroom had an unusual smell, but it didn’t bother us too much because we weren’t in our room except for sleeping. Overall we would recommend.

This property was close to everything on the Royal Mile. The double room we had was more like a room on a cruise ship. So be prepared if you’re booking this style room. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the stay.
