Construction was ongoing, a little bit noisy. Staff at check in was not friendly, and her English was hard to understand. Room was clean and housekeeping did a good job. Experienced some smell in the hallway.

A very upmarket hotel. The staff were very welcoming & friendly & so helpful with maps, tours & suggestions. The location was excellent. Buses & shops within walking distance. Highly recommend.

We stayed as a family for 5 nights. Our stay has exceeded our expectations. The staff are all very professional and friendly. They’ve given us an experience that we haven’t had in other hotels. Only hotel who touched base with us upon booking and the week before our travel to find out if there’s a special occasion we’re celebrating. We’ve never really celebrated our wedding anniversary as it’s usually ‘packaged’ as part of our travel in the holiday season. However, staff asked if there’s anything we’re celebrating. As such, we have indicated that it is also our wedding anniversary. Oh boy, did they surprise and spoilt us! We arrived on a strewn rose petals room, fruits and treats. Also were treated with wine, macarons, rose and teddy souvenirs in the other days. Very special stay indeed. Special thanks to the butler team for making our stay a memorable one. Special mention to Penny, Syikin, Durai and San. Breakfast buffet has sufficient options that cater to varying preferences and dietary requirements - staff were very friendly and engaging always asking if everything is OK. Special mention to Darwin, Jonnel and Kamal. Gym has enough equipment for a reasonable workout with access to a body fat scanner which is a bonus. Pool is also of good size which the kids enjoyed. Overall, facilities and amenities of the hotel are well maintained. It’s also close to shops and steps away from Orchard Road. Highly recommended! Fabulously accommodating staff. Clean and modern hotel with an excellent breakfast, nice pool and spa facilities and brilliantly positioned for shopping and restaurants.

We stayed in a special suite which is named in the honor of the founders mother (st. Regis Founder). This was a great story to hear. Wish the experience matched that story. There was construction going on in the hotel which was not disclosed during reservation. Lobby had terrible smell. Luckily not in the room. Nothing over the top and was expensive compared to other hotels I had researched.

Great hotel, excellent services and staff

The St Regis Singapore has it all. Wonderful and friendly staff, excellent food at both the Chinese and Astor Restaurants, rooms large, airy and very comfortable. Near to large shopping outlets with readily available taxis should one require to explore further areas.

One of my closers had a terrible smell that I could smell all night even with the door closed. Even after complaining, they only wiped it down with some orange solution that did not fix the issue. I asked them to please wipe it down with bleach but that request was ignored. Had to stay in a stinky room for a week.

Nice staff

Nice big room but only 1 usb plug. Cant you afford the $10 to equip eveey power outlet with a usb socket? This is 2024, not 1971.

Classy hotel with interesting art, meticulously maintained by professional, and very courteous staff; breakfast buffet is excellent views from the room and pool were nice Near a good mall with grocery store and several restaurants

Bad start - booked two rooms but hotel only registered one room which was not even in my name, as the main occupant (but my son's) - how strange and it was not rectified despite having written to the hotel via this app as well as to the butler's service who got in touch with my son (to my email of coz since I was the one booking) - very disappointing. In both instances, I reiterated our request for connecting rooms as we had planned a family gathering, even if it was just 4 adults and a baby. Later, the "error" was only semi-rectified at check-in, after much hassle. Then to rub salt into wound, our rooms were not connected but just side by side - how unexpectedly disappointing. Didn't the girl at check-in not understand simple English? Or insufficiently trained perhaps. Needless to say, we insisted on connecting rooms - otherwise our main purpose of booking at this supposedly esteem establishment for a cosy, long-awaited family gathering would be meaningless. We only managed to get into our connecting rooms at 6pm ++ The hotel would not even grant a late check-out, citing that it is fully booked (but strangely, the day-before occupants were allowed to leave at 4pm ++, when we had already made a booking for connecting rooms). It is sad to be sidelined in our own country. We received better services in 3 & 4 star hotels elsewhere in the world. Rooms are cosy & comfortable. Exceptional amenities, befitting the price we paid. G8 concierge services. Not coming back though.

In summary: It is disappointing to pay premium five star hotel rates for the St Regis Singapore. The hotel is very long overdue a refurbishment. Things are in bad shape, faulty and dirty. Some staff are rude. We had a suite and a second room for our kids. The Bad: - The hotel is very much in need of a refurbishment. Whilst it was clearly top notch in its day it is just too old now. - When we first walked into the suite the aircon controller was half hanging open with exposed wires (see photos). I showed it to the concierge but it was not repaired during our entire five night stay. The aircon did not work properly as when we would put It back in its place something must have been pushing the buttons from behind so the room was always ice cold. - The buttons on the control panel on the one bedside table did not do anything (see photo). To switch anything on or off could only be done from the other side. - The desk had a number of gouges and stains showing how old the pace is (see photos). - The bedroom telephone was absolutely filthy (see photo). - We decided to spend an afternoon a the pool where there is an old guy who is the attendant and helped by an elderly lady. Besides being extremely rude and unpleasant and clearly hating their jobs the guy could not be bothered to fix up the sun umbrellas which were both in bad shape but repairable. Excellent hotel and staff. Superior culinary expertise, brilliant food without any fuss or stress. Genuinely kind, polite and helpful staff. From check in to check out EVERYTHING was top notch. The staff really make this hotel, they’re the best in the business. Wonderfully comfortable beds, spacious rooms, very well appointed decor. And the art on display is fabulous. Thank you, St. Regis Singapore staff, management and owners. We look forward to returning soon.
