The hotel had a quirky boutique vibe about that I really liked. The staff, Buzwe and Money in particular, were both very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back there when I’m next in Cape Town.

Generally a nice enough hotel at a reasonable price. Sound carries a lot though, and I was woken up multiple times through the night as people walked down the hallway or were chatting downstairs. Because of this, I probably wouldn't stay again.
Bear in mind there is no elevator, so you may have to carry your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs.

All was good except no elevators. We each had two 50 lb. bags as we were coming off what was suppose to be a four month sea voyage. Hotel personnel did lug our biggest bags but three flights with a nearly 50 lb back pack was brutal. If that is on the web site we did not see it and would have stayed elsewhere. That said other wise it was great.

Comfortable, affordable hotel in long st. Nice hotel, good service, arty room.
Long st is noisy however and with the window open kept me awake at night. Also, the road feels a little bit dangerous to walk down at night.
Really convenient location though.

Extremely friendly staff helped me out with booking trips, finding restaurants and such. The area is fairly convenient and close to various restaurants. Only issue was that my AC stopped working at some point, but it wasn't too hot anyway.

Spent nine nights at Daddy Long Legs and enjoyed every minute of it. Fabulous location, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are good value - with en-suite. I would highly recommend a stay at Daddy Long Legs :-)

It was such a pleasure stay at Daddy long legs. Location is superb and I felt completely safe when inside the hotel even though Long street is known to be sketchy . It should be fine walking around during the day, just a walking distance to bo Kaap. Read reviews that it can noisy at night because of the parties but I never had a problem and slept well thru sat night . I would definitely come back again if I’m visiting capetown the next time .
