Fantastc hotel in great area of the city. Walking distance to many historic sights, the Bo Kaap, restaurants and shopping. Great food and service within the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much and will definitely seek out more Taj properties in future travels.

Incredible hospitality from everyone we met. Luxurious room with terrace and restaurants were excellent. We had moved from another hotel that wasn't good and this made all the difference in the world. Thank you for a memorable stay.

It is always a pleasure to stay at a Taj Hotel. The service and restaurants at the Taj Cape Town were outstanding. We had a stunning view of Table Mountain and Lions Head from our room, that even had a small balcony. The Centre City location next to the Company Gardens was excellent. Our first day we walked through the lovely gardens and enjoyed the Cape Town Museum of Natural History. We also took guided walking tours from the St George’s pedestrian mall right behind the hotel, one history of Capetown and one on Apartheid, walk to freedom. Bo Cape, with the colorful painted houses was right up the street.

We loved our stay, the food, the incredibly helpful staff members and just everything about this hotel! We will stay at the Taj again! They even packed us six breakfast boxes to go since we left at 5:30 AM and those boxes were lifesavers!

Worst stay ever in Capetown, the barmen did not know how to prepare a Negroni and I had to call thrice the in-room service at 2am to get a bottle of water. Never again

My wife and I had the most amazing and luxurious stay at the Taj. From the moment we walked in, Rita on reception met us with the most incredible standard of help and support. The room was exactly as we expected and more … the views (wow) and the comfort of the bed and the stunning bath with views - just wow. The bar, and restaurant staff again, we were blessed by all that we met with. I can’t name everyone but would like to make special mentions to Frank and Widaap. An incredible experience and we will definitely be back.

Super clean, well-maintained hotel. Everything feels new. The restaurants on property offer a wide variety of menu options. And all of Taj's staff is terrific...Zim at reception and Choli in the Asian restaurant were exceptionally kind and welcoming.

From check in to check out we had a wonderful time ! A grand breakfast buffett and even complimentary dinners but we weren't able to take advantage of that as we made other dinner plans. Our room in the tower was incredible looking right at Table Mountain and they even light it up at night ! Easy to get around with Uber Black ...great location
