Overall everything good

Amazong hotel. Clean, noce view, room was bigger than other hotels, it was amazing and super clean.

Nice bathroom.

Charging ports did not work. Room hot and stuffy. Did not anticipate two beds were literally on the floor. Facility was clean and staff spoke limited English.

The hotel was easy to find and the location was excellent. We had a smooth check in and the staff was friendly and helpful on every encounter. Every room there appeared to be different with unique view and size so choose well. The breakfast is cheap but you can do better at the coffee shop on the ground floor or the McDonalds next door. The bed was on a round base which made it difficult to get out of but it was comfortable once you got in. The view was delightful and the beach was perfect. Hope we get the opportunity to go back.

This hotel was very clean, quiet, and had gorgeous views. The employees were very professional and kind, which is nice since I'm a foreigner here. I also love that the hotel is in close proximity to a lof of things. Lastly, the room was very clean, organized, and had all the needed amenities. I loved my stay here and highly recommend it to others!

The staff were friendly. The rooms and furniture are old and don't seem clean. The price is too high for what you get. I stayed in a cheaper hotel that was much nicer and cleaner. For the price they charge I would suggest changing the carpet in the rooms and updating the decor.

The best part about this hotel was the location; if you are looking for a place to stay for a night near the beach, this isn't a bad option at all for the price. However, for anything longer than a night or two, I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel. I stayed 4 nights and it was fine, but next time I'll probably look elsewhere for a long stay in Pohang. Pros: The check in/out process was very easy, and the mechanical parking garage was easy to access from the road. Location was great. McDonald's next door made breakfast easy. Pillows were soft and comfortable. Toilet had a bidet. The view from the room was nothing to write home about, but there was a partial ocean view that I didn't expect to have. The room was very quiet, and I couldn't hear any neighbors or other noises from within the hotel. Cons: The bed was very... Korean, but I don't really count that against the hotel. But it was very hard, and not what a foreigner would expect from a hotel. The furniture in the room seemed older, and though I'm sure they clean the room well, it only goes so far to cover up the aging room. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and I could see the pipes and wiring above the bathroom. The carpet seemed old as well, and on the surface it was clean, but I didn't feel comfortable that it was deep-cleaned regularly. Overall, it's a decent option for a quick weekend trip for a night or maybe two, but anything longer than that might warrant looking for another option in the area.

Galaxy Hotel is a fantastic and prime location for Pohang. You’re literally across the street from Yeongildae Beach, and seconds away from having the day’s catch of fresh seafood.
