Hotel New Bilbao Airport

Having to call for the shuttle only after getting baggage. We couldn’t schedule it the day before and had to wait until we got our luggage the day of. Sitting outside after a late night flight waiting for a shuttle…..I thought that odd. Perhaps the hotel was short staffed?

We were well accommodated at the Hotel New Bilbao Airport. All was wonderful. We did have to leave very early for our flight back to the US. There was no coffee machine in the room. The hotel breakfast was not available before we shuttled over to the airport. Definitely not a deal breaker, but if they could have had a simple coffee machine in the lobby to accommodate the early birds, that would have been great! Thanks for a very nice stay!

2nd time we stayed and used airport shuttle both ways but this time the pickup driver told us he was only the driver and would not help with the bags, including for a woman whose bag was quite heavy; plus he kept the doors and windows open in 6C weather waiting for other passengers

Unfriendly staff acts like guests are inconveniences. I was an hour early for check in and another guest was 30 min early. The front desk refused to check us in early despite available rooms. I understand rules are rules, so that was actually fine, but no one smiled, say hello or acknowledged you. Driver of shuttle was the same way. No smile, no hello, no acknowledgement and just left my luggage in front of the hotel. The only time he smiled was when he was tipped. Nothing included in the room except a nice clean bed and clean, updated bathrooms. Continental breakfast looked lousy for free much less the cost of 8 euros they charge. There are no restaurants near by except a restaurant in the Holliday Inn Express next door. Bottom line, expect nothing except a clean bed and free shuttle to airport. I recommend paying a little more for the Holliday Inn Express down the street. They were so much nicer with staff and facility.

Stayed here by the airport because we had super early flight the next morning. Room was nice, roomy and clean. Has airport shuttles.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Convenient to the airport with shuttle service. First run @5AM, so early flights may have to make other arrangements.

I would recommend to hire caring and attentive ladies at the front desk.

Very close to airport for early am flight. Shuttle is not super frequent early (5:30 or 6:15.) Not many dining options nearby.

Very convenient location, quiet, close to airport and excellent service

We come here twice a year and this is the place to stay when you are arriving early or late. The breakfast is from 4:45 am until 10 am which is great for those early morning flights.

Great welcome to Bilbao! Efficient shuttle service from the airport, eventhough the hotel shuttle was unable to transport my bike. No problem, a taxi handled it well. Check in fast and friendly. Room is new with cofortable bed and good shower. Next morning the gentleman at front office arranged for taxi service to accomodate my bike to the bus station in Bilbao. Great extra service, thank you! Highly recommend this hotel!

Different System with lights and air condition, you have to use the door key in a slot for the lights and air conditioner to work inside. Take the key out and everything was off so the room was very steamy, feel like the air condition didn’t work, blow air only
