Affordable hotel near Gibraltar -- great view of rock from the room. However, hotel & room are in pretty worn out. It is fine for a day or two.

We selected this hotel for a brief one night stay and were flying out of the Gibraltar airport. It is conveniently located at the border of Spain and Gibraltar with Only 10 min walk to the Gibraltar airport. The hotel and the rooms are bit older and needs renovations and upgrades but served our purpose.

insulation was bad, hear people talking in the hallway. Tiny pool not worth mentioning. Breakfast was good. This hotel worth 3 stars at best, definitely not 4 stars. 10 min. walk to the passport control to Gibralta/

Good location, very large bed, large room, supply of coffee, tea and water. Nice balcony, helpful and friendly staff. On-line check-in didn't work, even after around 6 emails about it, but that did not cause any problems.

Ohtels Campo De Gibraltar, La Línea is a large hotel not far from the border to Gibraltar. Check in was very smooth, I had a room on the 4th Floor, very spacious, large wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, safe in wardrobe if required. Bathroom a good size with bath. Room clean and tidy.
Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection, room very spacious and light, lots of tables, staff very efficient, food well cooked.
I stayed for 2 nights and would definitely recommend.

Where to start? I booked a junior suite and the room itself had a fabulous view overlooking the Rock of Gibraltar from the balcony.
1. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working.
2. Being a suite there was a living room and a bedroom. There was only 1 TV and it was setup in the bedroom.
3. I had the breakfast on day 1 but it was so bland and tasteless that I decided to give it a miss on day 2.
4. The room service did not replenish the cream on day 2 so had to have black coffee and tea.
5. There was a leak from the shower so I had to use the bath mat to mop up the water. Housekeeping took the bath mat but didn’t give me a new one.
