This is an outstanding economical hotel close to the railway station and bus station. Perfect if you are staging for an adventure out in the tundra further afield from Gällivare, or even if you are just staying in town. Great breakfast, lovely breakfast room, very friendly people. The rooms are simple and rather sparsely furnished, but you get a good bed, table and chair, and they are pleasantly decorated. The prices are not much different from an STF hostel (vandrarhem), but the standard is higher. You do have to share a bathroom with others on the floor, but the facilities are ample and clean and I have never found this to be a problem.

Vi sov väldigt skönt och kände oss utvilade. Pga. Corona fanns inget bryggkaffe på morgonen, enda minus för min del, men corona är ju inte pensionatets fel!
Bra med gratisparkering precis utanför!

A nice hotel in the centre of town, close to restaurants and with good parking. Sound proofing on the rooms is terrible though so expect to be woken up in the morning by the first person who moves around in the hotel.

Charmigt boende med god och lagom stor frukostbuffé. Familjärt pensionat som ligger centralt och bra till. Uppskattade särskilt att vi kunde betala extra och nyttja rummet ända fram till tågets avgång! Återkommer gärna hit.

trist bara att röklukten va med i nostalgitrippen.

Doften av rök och mögel kompletterar perfekt bilden av detta milt uttryckt bedagade pensionat. Fläckar av svartmögel i badrummet. Men frukosten var faktiskt riktigt bra.

Trevligt & mysigt rum, lite tråkigt att dubbelrum har separata sängar dock. Frukosten fanns ett bra utbud att välja mellan, rent och fint. Tyst och lugnt i övrigt. Dock tråkigt att personalen verkade ha en lite dömande attityd och förföljde oss runt utomhus då vi rökte i tron att vi inte skulle betala. Man ska inte döma hunden efter håren, eller en person efter deras förflutna. Så på så vis kände man sig lite kränkt, samtidigt kanske det är många som utnyttjar systemet att man kan betala dagen efter vid utcheckning och inte gör det, och att man tog det personligt då man kommer från den staden och har ett förflutet för 5 plus år sedan. Även om man sköter sig idag. Överlag bra boende, och trevlig personal, även om sista timmen var lite kränkande då jag väntade på att få in från bank till Swish konto!
