Location is key when travelling in winter. Glad to have chosen the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel which is adjoining the T-Centrum station. The heating system in-room was fantastic and responsive to adjustment. It was a great 7 nights stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located, right next to the central station, and there are many different restaurants nearby.
However, the room windows are very close to the road, making it quite noisy. Housekeeping service was average, as the staff did not replace our towels during cleaning.

Easy access to everything
Walkable to all of the important landmarks
A little noisy…when other room doors were shut there was quite a thump!!
Could use blackout curtains. Sunlight would stream in early.

Dette hotellet var supert! Det lå rett ved togstasjonen og i nærheten av det meste man vil se. Vi fikk et finere rom enn bestilt med vindu ut mot gaten i stedet for innvendig vindu. Eneste minuset med det var at det var veldig lytt gjennom vinduene, så det var støy fra gateplan døgnet rundt. Wifi’en var dårlig. Overraskende at det ikke er bedre på et ellers så fint hotell. Bortsett fra det; flott rom, fint bad, god seng, kjempegod frokost og perfekt beliggenhet. Kommer til å velge samme hotell ved en eventuell senere anledning.

This is good hotel overall. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of gluten free options. The one big drawback for me, though, is that the family rooms overlook the breakfast hall and have no natural light. I didn't want to spend long in the room because of this. Another problem was that it took a long time for our room to be cleaned. We were forgotten altogether two days running. However, this was quickly rectified when we complained.

Mycket bra hotell. Kunde varit lite bättre stolar på rummet. Skön säng. Toppen med av Underbart med utcheckning kl 12:00. Trevlig personal. Bra med frikust till 11= ingen stress Tråkigt att baren högst upp var stängd en söndag. Rekommenderar. Låg såå nära centralstationen. Härlig utsikt. Bra läge.

The hotel lobby bar was closed for the summer and we were not notified. Also, the rooftop bar was closed Sunday and Monday, again, nothing to indicate this. The staff was inconsistent with their answers regarding these services. Also, the elevators were not organized for transfer between floors as their signs indicated. Also, there is no air conditioning, only air circulation.

Fabulous location, well appointed large room with heated bathroom floor.
So good to be near trains and buses. Great Japanese restaurant 50m away and cosy & classy bistro bestick just 200m away.
Handy to pedestrian street and Gamla Stan old town.
Could not have found a better tourist hotel. Highly recommend m.
