Scandic Visby

we were on 3rd floor with lift access. the room and toilet are big. room is well layout and bright. however, bed is too soft with a sink-in in the middle. breakfast is enjoyable and though we stayed 5nights we look forward to the breakfast. the restaurant is good too. had a double burger, chicken salad and beer. traveling to stockholm and will be also staying at another scandic hotel.

Very handy when arriving on the late ferry but a basic chain hotel. Did the job for us.

Very nice- family friendly!

Pleasant hotel a short wall to the centre of Visby (city Walls) located opposite the ferry terminal so don’t expect views over the water. Rooms are spacious and clean, air conditioning for when the temps are too hot. Ample choices at the Breakfast buffet. Pool on site open from 9am to 9pm. Road between hotel and terminal can be a little noisy with some cars playing music too loudly. All in all a pleasant stay, the children were happy.

Nice and pleasant hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to the sea. Nothing to complain about. Will consider staying here again when in Visby.

Nice Hotel close to ferry border. Rooms in separate buildings, breakfast very good. 5 min walk to old Visby center, perfect.

Fint hotell, bra pool men lite kallt i vattnet. Härligt med frukost till kl 11. Bra läge med kort promenad till restauranger i hamnen och stora torget.

Overall this hotel is great! The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed is comfy. It is very close to the ferry and they have the BEST breakfast buffet!

The front desk staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, the pool and jacuzzi was a great way to relax. Breakfast was plentiful and right across the street from the ferry!

Lovely and extensive buffet breakfast. Rooms are a little small and some don't have any windows (just a glass door). Private outdoor patio/seating area for the room was lovely. A short walk to the ferry terminal and the walled city.

Fantastic hotel, good breakfast and free parking on the hotel ground. Hotel located right at the ferry terminal, so easy to find hotel on arrival and the same when leaving the island. Short 15 min walk to city center. During this extreme summer heat, 30 deg C, and room facing west, I was missing Air conditioning.

A nice hotel within walking distance of the ferry terminal, though it's a bit further if you want to walk into the city. Excellent included buffet breakfast, internet terminal in the lobby, and very quiet rooms. A bit unique in that the hotel is made up of individual (separated) buildings, but all within a close distance to the lobby and hotel restaurant.

Nice room. Overall hotel was good. Rooms qUnited simple but clean and had everything. Hotel about 5 minutes walk outside walls but directly opposite ferry terminal.

I am not allowed to reveal the price, but the per night was well beyond what we received.

I wouldn’t say this hotel is a good value, since we paid well over $200 for it, which is not what it is worth. But, I suppose that should be expected in the short high season in Visby. Also, the free, covered parking was a bonus. The room was small, but had a few shelves and a hanging rack for clothes. Bed and wifi were both very good. Also, the shower was great! So, no luxuries, but I’d definitely recommend this place to friends. We were not travelling with dogs this time, but this hotel has a few rooms that have doors that open to patios and grassy space. These would be great for dogs! Even though the hotel was in multiple different buildings, all were very wheelchair friendly. Breakfast was large, with lots of organic choices – a pleasant surprise! Negatives: No safe or coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Great eating breakfast on terrace. The sun shone everyday and so we loved the outdoor facilities. Easy parking. Breakfast was good (Pretty dodgy porridgy though). Nice pool to sit by.

Right next to the ferry terminal which is great for an early departure. Nice breakfast and great facilities (the hot tub and the gym are great). Only ten minutes walk to the old town centre.
