We had a roof terrace room and it was a really lovely room. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was gorgeous. Free parking right outside. The town of caslano was beautiful, lovely circuit walk right from the hotel and we walked down to the historic centre at night to eat takeaway pizza at the side of the lake, as well as eating in the grotto opposite. Also you can hire a boat down by the lake which was a highlight. Not far to drive to Lugano or morcote or you can get the train easily. Loved it and would stay again!

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The proximity to the lake and several small restaurants is ideal. Pool is also quite nice. Only downside is if it is Hot, there is no AC, which is pretty normal in this area. They will provide you with a fan for your room, which helps a lot.

The hotel is some distance from the busy main road and town center, so it is very peaceful. It is a short walk through the old town to the lakeside, where they have restaurants. Also, it is close to the Alprose chocolate factory where you can buy very cheap (and good) chocolates.
