Hotel Cristal

Great location and near the main train station. It gets noisy past midnight from people coming home from the restaurant and/or bar.

Service from front desk manager was very good . There were few amenities missing and they were able to accomodate. Room is nice however the bed is too low and they are more like 2 twin beds instead of queen size beds for couple. There was some chemical cleaning smell in the room , so we had to open windows. There are glass doors and got to be cautious not to hurt yourself going to bathroom etc. Our overall stay was pleasant and central to all places, 5 minute walk to the train station , supermarket and restaurants

I stayed at Hotel Cristal while attending business conferences in Geneva, and it was a great choice for my trip. The hotel’s excellent central location, just a short walk from Gare Cornavin, made it incredibly convenient to get around the city. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which was perfect for quick meals and evening strolls after work. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, something I truly appreciated during a busy schedule. While the room was a bit small, it was comfortable and quiet—ideal for resting at night after long conference days. A special mention goes to the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay smooth and pleasant with their warm service. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Cristal to business travelers and tourists alike looking for a clean, centrally located hotel with great service in Geneva.

Clean comfortable and extremely well located It’s a no-frills, get the job done Hotel. Rooms are a bit small but very nice. Train station is seven minutes walking Great choice especially if you’re looking for a place to sleep before catching a train

This is one of the many hotels surrounding the train station in Geneva. This one is modern and can be reached easily via an undergound passage to a pedestrian mall, something to consider if you have heavy bags. Very clean facility, comfortable but sparse rooms. Very good buffet breakfast. Efficient staff at the front desk. Walkable to the lake and area hotels and shops, even a walk across the bridge takes no more than 20 minutes. I would stay here again.

Very close to the train station, nice place and well maintained. The checkout time is at 12 which is very convenient.

Front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very convenient location near the train station and walkable to Old Town and the lake. Buses were easy to navigate and a nice option to reach the United Nations.

Staff were helpful and let us know about the free Geneva public transport during our stay, breakfast was also good

Hotel Cristal set up their hotel info wrong online and as a result were over booking. Arrived at hotel and had no room, no record of us in their system, and they accused us of being at fault, until after they wasted an hour of our time admitted they'd been having more people than have rooms claim to have reservations lately. Were left with needing to find another room in the city over the holiday

Very quiet, well-maintained property at reasonable prices and located at a very convenient area near transportation and shopping.

Excellent value for money, the staff at the front desk is extremely friendly and always ready to solve any problem. My first visit to Geneva (17 years ago) was to this hotel and from then until now it has improved a lot. It no longer resembles that old, dirty and dark hotel.

Served the purpose. Was close to everything and convenient.  The walls are quite thin so you will hear people in the hallways and next door.  Bathroom had an odd smell. Small but it works- no frills. Clean. Odd things with the structure and layout: The walls have a stone-like popcorn ceiling material. Gaps in workmanship and the gaps in the ceiling where the air comes in are odd and a bit unsettling. Key for room-with a weighted keychain- not a card. Safe in room. Tea bag and one instant coffee and a decaf instant coffee. One pillow. It's great if you're staying in the city and need to be close to everything. I'd stay again but nothing exceptional. Meets the need.

Conveniently located right outside the central train station. Many restaurants close by. Rooms are basic but very clean. Bathroom also clean with shower only, good hot water. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Convience store close by at the train station, small mini bar in hallway of each floor if you don't feel like walking. I have found hotels in Geneva can be quite expensive so this was a good value. My meetings were out by the airport but with free transport pass and one stop to the airport it was convenient and nice to be in the city center in the evening.

Really friendly and helpful staff and nice new clean room. Great location for me.

The room was very small and the bathroom was not very private. It was right as you came into the room with just colored glass separating the toilet and shower area.

Somewhat noisy due to construction in the back plaza area as well as garbage trucks

Hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Accommodations crisp white and spotless!! Steps away from downtown shopping and gorgeous landmarks. 5 star all the way
