We were really enjoyed staying in Amba Hotel. The hotel is clean, nice, and we really love the room details! From the big one like the furniture until the details like the toothbrush. All hotel staff also friendly. Well, it's definitely worth the price.

I like the room settings with a large desk behind the bed. Minimal but comfortable. Two large windows with street view with the trees along the road is beautiful. The sound proofing is great even we are in second floor.

Room was very small for a medium room as compared to the other Amba I had stayed. Lifts and walkways were dark. Super eco friendly as no disposable toiletries was provided. Was unaware of this and had to go out in the heavy rain to buy toothbrushes which i forgot. Luckily I have the habit to bring my own toileteries.

I booked a king size room but their king size bed is literally a combination of two twin beds, you can feel the gap between the two mattress when you lay down on your “king size bed”. even the cheapest motel won’t do that.

Great location, close to 2 train stations and lots of food options available around the area! Central location so travelling around Taipei was convenient and Zhongshan itself had a lot to explore as well. The room was very cosy and clean too. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and clean with great amenities. Free breakfast was also nice to have available in the morning. Great location next to metro, shops and night market.

Super fantastic hotel, an amazing experience... My wife and I are in Taipei for a couple days. We chose this hotel for the location and proximity to the light rail and how easy it was to navigate the city, we're blown away with the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the overall great vibe.. each room is set up comfortably. There are independent routers for fast internet in each room, an espresso coffee maker with pods refreshed daily. What was very surprising? Is that on floor two? There are several washing machines and dryers along with complimentary tide soap for use for the guests, that came in. Very handy I can't think AMBA enough for having that service .We also chose to have the breakfast included and the spread was outstanding.... Breakfast was served from 6:30 to 10:30. Okay ample seating. The food was flavorful. There was a mix of international cuisines and the service was on point.. The breakfast was served buffet style with a self-serve coffee machine that offered selections like americanos, espressos and cappuccinos along with a variety of teas. The Amba does not disappoint and do yourself a favor. Forget about Uber. Forget about trying to navigate the city with rideshare, go down to the light rail. Grab a day pass for $3 American and enjoy that service. It is a easy to navigate system

Property is located in an area with big brands n 5 star hotels offering a more economic option. About 8-10 mins walk to 2 different mrt stations. Very convenient when for commute within Taipei or to the outskirts like Tamsui n Beitou hot spring area. Excellent dining n shopping opportunities near Zhongshan mrt station. Lots of cafes n restaurants serving various crusines. There r underground arcade, local boutiques, 2nd hand stores n many more. Surprised by some larger restaurants that don't take credit cards!

It had been an amazing stay with amba! I had stayed in this hotel for countless time for business and this is the first time I visited again in almost 4 years. Room conditions, services, location are all excellent. The only downside we had was from one night (out of 4 nights we stayed) had no hot water because of boiler issues. We didnt receive any notifications from staff until we tried to take a shower after a long day. The hotel offered transport for us to go to another amba hotel for shower but with a tired young kid ww decided to take a cold shower instead of all the hassles. We never heard any apologize from the hotel for this issue unfortunately that was quite disappointing. But I believe it was only a one-off issue, and we will still stay with this hotel for our next visit to Taipei!
