Convenient and services great

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was the worst hotel we have stayed at. Staffs were not friendly, no hi or welcome, one host approached us and told us to sit and wait for check in. When we got checked in, the room was dirty and smells like mold. We had asked to change room and they gave us another one just four doors down that was exactly the same. We ended up not being able to change for another room. The experience at this hotel was not great. We will never stay at this place again.

We have booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One of the rooms is quite small compared to other checked in room. Especially there are cockroaches in the room so we immediately requested for room changing. I think hygiene is a key consideration for the visitors to choose a hotel!!! Definitely won’t recommend or stay at your hotel in the future. We don’t want to bring back other cockroaches to our home country.

I liked that it was near to the train station and lots of stores/restaurants. I didn't like the rude head cleaner. I reported my room had a strong smell of muggy or mildew and due to my breathing issue, I requested another room. I called the front desk who offered to find me another room. The cleaner then came in to say "this means I have to re-clean the room and it was almost my time to leave for the day." We did not sleep on the bed nor used the bathroom mind you. There is a clear difference between the smell in the hall vs being in the room. While the staff took us to another room, she was complaining about us in Mandarin and there was no foul smell in the room. My wife who is fluent in Mandarin could hear every word she said. Not very professional. The next room also had that muggy mildew smell as well. Perhaps this is only the 2nd floor issue, but we accepted it rather than moving again. The hotel was clean and location was good. I wish there was less smokers outside. It was difficult for me to breath every day due to all the smokers outside and then walking into a hotel room that smelled of mildew.

Gym was mostly unusable as broken equipment. Skip breakfast. Too busy and poor quality. Plenty of local options close by

Customer service is not very responsive and not friendly at all!! Very lousy….room is dirty and carpet.

Not all hotel rooms provide bidet. It will be nice at least provide pipe for washing after toileting. Also provide connecting rooms for family bonding will be great. Overall thumbs up for hotel midtown richardson. Great hotel. 👍

Spacious and decent quality rooms in a very convenient location.

Highly recommended

Breakfast spread many but everyday is the same food. Breakfast area super crowded between 7-9am as there’s many tour groups hotel guests. Location super convenient as it is beside Ximen station exit5. Family room not spacious, just 23sqm, not enough space to cover three luggages area and walking space.

Location is good but the hotel facility, bathroom are quite old

Very good except that the first room offered to us has some issues with the bathroom water pipes. There were continuous drainage loud sound presumably from water flow especially in the middle of the nite. Room 1022. Please avoid this room. Otherwise everything else is good and kudos to the staff there, they provide very good service allowing us to change room and also provided very good follow up services.

Stay experience was great. The only point of improvement is air-condition temperature control. The button is not working properly.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They recommended nice eateries nearby which are good for local foods. The location is very convenient though the superior twin room seems to be small. Prefer the family room instead.

DIRTY!!! Lobby and reception are nice. But once you up to the room levels. From Carpet to room are dirty. I saw Cockroach waking around the coffee cup in the drawer. Walls has dirty spots. Has cracking sound when hot water turned on. Do not recommend except for location.

Excellent breakfast choice and good restaurants in the hotel as well as nearby. Very responsive staff who were very helpful and many spoke English (sorry my Mandarin is so poor!). Rooms were very good standard, very well cleaned and serviced. Even though this is a large hotel it was so well organised. And it is central and near good shopping and night markets as well as within walking distance from the main museums and tourist spots. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we came back again!
