There was no need to have the towels changed every day. So nice to have the self laundry service. The location was very convenient to go anywhere with the public transportation stations and bus stop nearby.

I am impressed with the spaciousness of this hotel, including the lobby, sitting areas on each floor, dining/restaurant, my hotel room/bathroom, and the fun see-through elevators which are plentiful with nearly no wait time! I had a lovely view of the city from the 15th floor which I enjoyed day and night. Both coffee and tea (plus bottled water) are provided each day. Super comfortable bed allowed for restful sleep and relaxation. It was my little piece of heaven for 6 nights. The only negatives I can think of are the shower temperature is not easy to adjust and the hotel is a little far from MRT station (maybe I'm spoiled.) The Breeze shopping center is right next door for food court, supermarket, etc. A comparatively larger size Seven-11 is connected to the hotel so you don't even need to leave the hotel to get snacks or other daily use items. I would love to return to Illume in the future!

The room is spacious and the location is very convenient. Two of the hotel staffs, one in the front desk and one at entrance, are very rude and unfriendly, by far the worse I have seen in the 5 different hotels I had stayed in Taiwan in this trip.

Room is clean and spacious with two king size beds. Shower hot water can be unstable at times. I was there for two days. First night was great. However second night there was loud bass sound coming from 16th floor pub. I had to go down to the lobby and complaint to the hotel but the loud bass lasted overnight till 2 or three. Disappointed, it is not a cheap hotel. Beware your corner suites!

Good: access to bus services and walkable to mrt (2 lines). Friendly staff. Access to decent restaurants due to proximity to Taipei Arena
Bad: dated property. Hot water system unstable. Cannot adjust room temperature even with help of house keeping.
