Anzac Hotel

Close to ferry. Close to restaurants. Afternoon manager was extremely good went out of his way to help a big thank you to him. Would recomend this to other people to stay here.

Small hotel with a big welcome. They arranged free parking for my moto. The decor is clean and fresh with nice art deco touches, the breakfast is excellent and the location is great, 2 minutes walk from the seafront, cafes and restaurants.

They claim to be a non smoking facility but everyone was smoking in their rooms. The walls were thin so it permeates well. As did all the trashy perfumes they were applying. My room didn’t have hot water the first two days. Hilarious. There was no wireless internet the ENTIRE 4 days I was there. Breakfast was horrible. I ate a pile of olives. EVERY hard egg I tried to eat had yolks covered in that green sulfur ring which indicates either old eggs or very overcooked. I stayed in January. It was far from a fully booked hotel but they placed a loud noisy family right next door to me. What gives? To top it off the front desk recommendations for food were horrible. One place I was directed to had American and Mexican cuisine. Who travels from North America to Turkey to eat Mexican cuisine in some cheesy club??

Very central, perfect for the ferry and ferry-bound buses, as well as nightlife, though drawback is outside noise until the early hours. Lovely, comfortable bed!

Loved the hotel and the staff there. Incredible location, smack center, right by the pier. The rooms are comfy and very peaceful nights of sleep. The staff were very helpful in setting up arrangements for tours to the battle fields. I would defiantly stay here again. A big thank you to the manager who also use to work in Colorado,( my home state), he is a great source of information & to have a nice chat with over tea. Again, thank you until next time.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extensive and very good. Location is great, in the city centre so close to shopping, cafes and restaurants and the ferry.

We arrived very late after a delay and the night staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms were simple and straightforward, nicely decorated with very clean bathrooms. Breakfast was plentiful. The ferry to the Gallipoli peninsula was a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

We booked a family room and paid in advance. There was no problem with welcome. Everything as agreed. Hotel building is quite old. One should not expect much comfort. Location is perfect exactly in city central. Breakfast so so.

Very easy stay here. Friendly and relaxed. Located in the centre of town near the ferry. Breakfast was nice. Good place to leave for a Gallipoli tour, which they arranged at reception.

Nice clean hotel close to bars / restaurants and ferry. Friendly staff. But a bit basic, and not so good re sound proofing.

Staff was very kind to help me with the ramp for wheelchair. For the inconvenient of two hours spend with the ramp they accepted us with two extra children and parking free, as discount. Room very good. Great location. Breakfast free. Lift has enough space for wheelchair.

Stayed for 2 nights to visit the sites at Gallipoli. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable and quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff. Gave us a map and explained the area, which was not usual for Turkey. Would definitely stay again.

Staff quite helpful although some only limited English. Only concern very difficult access to shower over bath made worse by loose handrail. Otherwise great spot to stay.

The hotel is easy to find. Is near the ferry and in the middle of things. Around the corner are the less touristy and more interesting places to dine in and look at. The place is clean and spacious. Breakfast was comprehensive. The hotel can also book tours to the local highlights.

Great location 200 meters from ferry, very friendly staff, clean rooms, there is refrigerator in the room, quiet neighborhood, parking is nearby, excellent breakfast, great value for the money.

The rooms were 5 minutes walk to the ferry for the peninsula. Food shops outside the hotel. It was great to come home to the air conditioner and complimentary water and hot drinks that were available at all hours in the lobby. Had a good breakfast which was included before we set off every morning. Excellent value and friendly staff.
