The location is absolutely amazing. We had no idea what to expect but the setting and Gurdwood setting was just beyond our expectations. If we come back to Alaska we to stay longer than three days.

The resort is hidden within the beauty of Girdwood. With a tram to the ski lifts and an elegant resturant the scenary and the food are fabulous. The spa is nice and the accomodations are excellent. Breakfast was not up to our expectations, but was okay.

Upgraded to the diamond club room, it was fantastic. All the staff I interacted with were great. The whole area is beautiful

Alyeska is a beautiful property, and we loved our spa and dining experiences. Sadly, checking in was dreadful. Our room was not available at check-in in time, the stressed-out desk staff promised to text us when our room was ready, but didn’t. The room was not available until two hours after checking in. The people who assisted us with our luggage were friendly and helpful and the sushi bar chef was great. But come on, two hours late?

The food at both of the venues we ate at was fantastic. The valet service was great. However the over flow parking needs work. Both in maximizing those available near the hotel by painting lines for parking spots and for communicating where the overflow parking was located and how to get there

This is a beautiful resort. Our room had a great view of the tram and the mountain. We enjoyed time in the pool and large hot tub. We enjoyed time hiking around the lovely hotel grounds. The only negative was that the price of the tram ride was $36 each just to get to the lodge at the top which offered a bar and restaurant but because there was snow on the ground they weren't allowing you to hike around up there at all. We felt the price was very high just for the self serving reason of visiting their own restaurant and so we did not utilize it.

This is a large resort property in a great location. It should be noted that it is used by cruise ships for before/after stays. The rooms and corridors are in need of renovation. The furniture in our room would not be acceptable for charity donation (it was that beat up & worn). Even the framed art work on walls was beat up. Initial check in at 4pm was delayed by 90 min+. Housekeeping is understaffed. Our room was not serviced while there. Calls to request coffee pods for morning were ignored. Could not find housekeeping staff in am . Luckily There is Kaladi coffee shop on 3rd Fl. Best thing here was Nordic spa with multiple pools, sauna & hot tubs in forest. Purchase pass in advance. Location is good for hiking and visiting glaciers etc. Girdwood is close with some decent dining options. Tram was also available to mountain with nice views of water/ mountains. Could be great property with renovation & better staffing.

Summer service was not as exemplary as winter. The resort could have been better. It treated us more like a holiday inn than a resort. There was an order of fish in the hall, it was under construction, calls for assistance from the front desk went unanswered or delayed to the point of cancellation. At check out we lugged our own bags in separate trips after waiting an hour without any help… cancelling our call after the first trip to the car. In the past (winter months) I have loved our stays, very disappointed by the summer experience…
