Ambassador Hotel Wichita, Autograph Collection

The hotel itself is nice and clean but i will not ve staying here again! They will nickel and dime you for every single thing, including charging you for wifi, for the price i paid to stay here, the very least you could do is give me wifi! The room service is overpriced, as are all the snacks and minibar stuff! $7 for a snickers bar is crazy. Then the shower leaks all over the floor, and the showerhead sprays all over the place as well. Then while im sleeping, the maid service knocks on my door, i shouted one minute! She then knocked another 4 times before i could get my pants on, and i ended up answering the door with just a towel on! I know they have a job to do, but give me a minute to get up!

Nicest Hotel in Wichita by far!

We had An amazing stay for our 20th anniversary. I will say be prepared for commotion as you are downtown. They did provide a Bluetooth speaker to play white noise.

Hotel and atmosphere are fantastic!

This was a great high-end hotel room. It was very spacious. I love that during the holiday season they had a speakeasy in the basement. Valet service was great. They had wonderful decorations for Christmas.The gym was nice as well.

My husband was at Wesley Hospital for 6-7 days, I needed safe, 5 star hotel for restaurant, room service, & convenience to hospital. Ambassador did not disappoint. This staff both customer service & restaurant for both breakfasts & dinners were exemplary. I would recommend staying if you have high expectations along with food things as my love languages of life. Not to mention the delicious vanilla lattes every morning.

We enjoyed the decor and space at this hotel and the staff was helpful when we needed some items printed. The location was convenient.

All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The property was clean and felt very safe. We had a nice time. The only leas than stellar thing about the place is that bed was pretty squeaky and I hope the squeaking did not bother any guests.

Great trip. Everyone was so nice. Only thing was the room was non smoking but smelled a little like smoke. But it was a nice hotel

This property NEVER disappoints! The ambiance as well as the staff are really extraordinary. From the cookie at check in and the coffee in the lobby (with cream) in the morning, they don't ever miss a chance to make you fee welcomes and appreciated! Our interactions with Charles - the Doorman and Parking Valet - were the highlight of this trip!!! We would come back just to stay in touch with our new friend - he is a Wichita treasure!!! He knows the history of the town and especially the area around the hotel, he is so personable and such a friendly likable man that you are just drawn into his orbit...and are better for it! Can't heap enough praise on the Wichita Ambassador Hotel!!!

We did take the time to watch the video about the hotels founder. Thought it was great that he had those views. But feel that this hotel was not living up to that. The bed itself was fine, but the frame with the fake leather was torn in several areas, probably due to luggage carts (since our room was a king the bed could have been center on the wall more towards the windows and that would have left more space for carts). The pillows were not great. The carpet in our room was separating where it was seamed. The windows were filthy, I realize there was construction going on across the street, but my ranch does not have that dirty of windows. We drive a Chevy 4500 HD dually when traveling, I called ahead about parking and was assured we would fit in the secured parking. We did not. So, our truck stayed in the unloading area of the hotel for the night. We still got charged for parking. Dinner in the restaurant was so so. Nothing blew us away. The steak tartar was fine, and we both had the filets for dinner, and they were cooked accordingly Blue and Rare. But mine (Blue) was very grisly around the meat, his was tender as would be expected from an aged steak but really nothing write home about. The potatoes were blah. The table next to us had the Halibut and I am glad I did not order it as it STUNK. I had to put my hand over my nose until he finished it as it smelled bad. I have never had halibut that smelled like that before. Waiter was good. Long way from saying it was bst hotel

It was convenient to Century ii perorming arts and convention center. Also, walkable to old town.

Great place. Very pleasant staff and high end furnishings with nice amenities. Basement speakeasy is very cool and a must visit. Only real downside was the street noise which is constant every night until 2 AM. Will definitely go back, but with earplugs.

We stayed here for a concert and the property was very convenient to everything we needed. There were restaurants and shopping nearby. We absolutely loved the speakeasy bar! Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable! We will stay again when we are in Wichita.
