This hotel was pleasant to stay at all three days I was there. The counter staff was friendly and very helpful. There was a security guard patrolling the well lit parking area. The room was VERY clean. No left behinds from any other guests. The bed linen was without spot. The kitchenette was nice and featured a full size refrigerator and a full size microwave built into the ventahood. Two flat surface burners if you want to heat up something the old fashion way. The bath towels were clean, and so was the vanity and the bath/shower room. The toilet paper is on a pedestal so that you can place it where you want it.
I was surprised as this was my first stay. I intend to return. It is difficult to find this quality at this price range anywhere else in Anchorage.

For me it was great, I had a rental car and was there for just a couple of days. It's not downtown, more in a neighborhood setting with a Home Depot behind it and an old abandoned mall next door. If you want to be within walking distance of places or around a bunch of spots to eat this isn't for you. The room though was clean and neat, no noise problems and the check in was easy (I actually arrived early but it was no problem and I was checked in immediately). If a simple, no frills, clean, cost efficient place is what you're seeking I'd recommend this hotel in a minute. No regrets.

Overall very great place to stay. It snowed and it would have been considerate to plow the parking lot for those who had vehicles. It was a chore to get in/out of vehicles due to snow as well as salt down the entry/exit ways for safety!
