I like the quietness of the hotel and the cleanliness both in the hallway and the room.
I woke up in the morning with 3 police cars in the parking lot. I don't know what happened and why they were there but it made me think twice if it's really a safe hotel. I've never been to a hotel where there were police present so it felt weird to see them. By the time I checked out though, the police cars were gone.

I didn’t like anything about it. I checked in and was assigned to room 137. The instant I opened the door all I could smell was wet dogs. I thought I was going to throw up. My next room that I slept in, had bedbugs. I checked out immediately. No refund no refund because I went through Expedia.

Aptel is a good hotel at an affordable price, especially for Anchorage. Almost all the other hotels around Anchorage near the price of Aptel are ugly dogs. Many other hotels around Anchorage at the price point of Aptel are uncleaned properly, have unsafe parking areas, and highly unacceptable customer service personnel.
Aptel has clean rooms with a meaningful kitchenette, including a full size refrigerator, full size microwave, an electric flat top cooktop, and a good many clean cabinets to place supplies in.
The bathroom is very clean with good toilet psper, great towels, hand towels and wash cloths. A full size and clean bathtub/shower with a shower curtain that is designed outward at the top so that the curtain doesn't get in your way when showering.
The parking lot is well lit, and there are enough parking spaces.
I have stay at this Aptel 4 times now. My experience is consistent. I plan to use this Aptel in the future.

Very nice stay! Clean, quiet, and centrally located. My wife is wheelchair bound. We had a handicapped room, however the toilet was not a chair height making it difficult for her. The doors were very hard to get through because of the auto close mechanism. However we will definitely use this hotel again. The staff is everything you could ask for polite, helpfull, and understanding. The room was clean, and everything worked correctly.

After my first night of staying there i went outside to find my windshield smashed when i asked the staff to look and see what had happened to my car the lied to me and told me they didnt have cameras where my car was parked even though there were 3 different cameras pointing directly at my vehicle

The staff at Aptel were nice and helpful. The room was clean in all areas, yhe property was quiet and felt safe. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Anchorage and will definitely being staying here again in the future!
