Great location for exploring West Village, Soho and Tribeca. Helpful and friendly staff and a modern clean room with nice rooftop bar too.

Only stayed one night but I was really impressed with this place. So much so, that I will look to stay here on my next trip to NYC. First-timers to NYC may want to be closer to Times Square/Midtown but for a subsequent trip this place is perfect. Lots of nice bars and restaurants within a short walk and the Hudson River walkway is a real gem. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant (excellent) and breakfast the following morning (also excellent). Even had a drink on the rooftop bar - unfortunately too cold to sit outside but looked excellent too! Will definitely be back. Rooms on the small side but spotlessly clean and well laid out. Staff on desk and in restaurant also lovely. Well done, Arlo Soho!

Okay, hotel in a nice Tribeca location. Like most of these hotels, high-priced sardine can rooms. The remodel they did was super sloppy with paint drips on nearly everything but the style was nice. A nice restaurant in the hotel and small shop in the lobby for snacks. The front desk was slammed nearly every time we walked through the hotel and check-in was very, very slow. The room was double booked and they turned our key cards off and we had to go through a 25 minute ordeal to get things figured out.
In general, an okay hotel, $350/night doesn’t get you much anymore in NYC.

Great location and price. Room was tiny but for one person it sufficed. Entire room was literally and bathroom and a bed. Nowhere to even put a suitcase. But it was NYC and location, location, location. Would stay again if solo. If I was traveling as a couple it would not work.

Room is ridiculously small. No closet no drawers a few cheap hangers on the wall. Cannot move in here. I’d cancel my second night if i could get a human on the phone to cancel.

Great for a solo traveler who wants to stay in that particular area. That said, bathrooms do not provide privacy if you’re with someone. It’s a sliding glass door and there are gaps that you can clearly see the person using toilet. I also booked the hotel because it had a rooftop bar/restaurant which we were not able to use. I found out every Saturday they have these parties/special events with a DJ/club music and you could hear it and FEEL it from my room on the 8th floor. Fortunately it ended around 10. I’ve found that this is the case with most NYC hotel rooftops. Best to ask before you book if this is a problem for you. Still, hotel bed was comfortable and room clean
