the staff was great. all of them were very funny and lighthearted. my girlfriend and i went for a night in their pool. 13 teenage boys came in and terrorized us. throwing things at us, yelling at us. humping eachother etc. infront of children as well. so my only wish is that more staff came down to see what was happening. bed was nice, shower never got hot, we were missing lightbulbs?

Gerry, the front desk agent during the day and Rick (Im pretty sure that’s his name, front desk/night shift) were exceptional, the staff definitely went and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. I can’t say enough about how friendly, helpful, professional, and courteous Gerry was when I checked out and the same for the night audit/front desk staff when I checked in the first night. The rooms are clean, breakfast at the cafe was delicious, and we look forward to staying at the Ashworth again! Highly recommended, thank you!

I stayed at this property for a conference. My hotel room was very clean. However the conference room floors were dirty. I had arrived the night before and was directed to put some equipment in the conference room. The floor/carpet was obviously in need of sweeping and the director had me put the equipment to the side so the room could be cleaned. The next day all the dirt was there and there was a big wet spot in the carpet. The lunch provided by the hotel and the organizers of the conference was not very good and basically the same thing every day. So I would not recommend this facility for an event. Food at the bar was decent. Not many dining options in the off season. The location would be great for a beach vacation when other restaurants and businesses are open. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Room was Great. Couldn’t park your own car. Bar was closed when we got back from our event that ended at 10pm. Never got a receipt emailed to me, I emailed to question what was charged and haven’t received a reply. They better gear up for their busy season, a few nice employees, but some better gear up for the busy season.

This was an off season travel experience.
Pros: clean room, fridge, coffee maker, temp control, nice pub, pub staff was friendly, dog friendly with reasonable surcharge, nice chamber maid.
Cons: Check in staff seemed frazzled, small rooms, ordered add ons and none were available, amenities profile not up to date.

Location is a 10-star, condition of hotel is a 5. The pool was nasty-we didn’t dare get in it. The room it is in was pretty sketchy too. The hallways reeked of marijuana most of the time. They charge an amenity fee-for what???? Old rusted ceiling tiles in bathroom. We would not stay again

Tub faucet came off in my hand. Drawer handle below tv sticky and slimey. Elevator walls scratched and fingerprints everywhere. Bedding was clean.Mattress was comfortable. Desk staff was welcoming.

The shower did not drain properly at all. The water pressure was very inconsistent. The water went from freezing cold to very hot without touching the knob.

I paid for a luxury room with 1 king bed and when I arrived to check in they gave me a different room with two beds of less quality, The receptionist, annoyed, told me that he couldn't give me the room because it was no longer available. He said that Expida was to blame. I called Expedia and they didn't help me either. Expedia said that the hotel was to blame. They didn't refund my money and I didn't even get an apology, horrible service from Expedia and the hotel..

Front desk employee not friendly
I took pictures of thick dust, dirt caked on the bathroom light switches. Ceiling panels warped, slightly open. White threads under the refrigerator. Bed horribly made with a deep indent on the pillow. Tv had a huge stain in the corner, screen not clean. Toilet seat was horrific, stains inside the toilet. Stains on the towels. Rust all along the metal cieling, tub faucet stained and nasy, tub was not clean!!!!
Very much NOT worth $200.00. I was looking forward to staying at The Ashworth, oceanfron room, asked to upgrade if there was anything available. I was told there were no rooms. THAT, is why I had to stay in the very uncomfortable room I had. I don’t usually write a bad review.. but I was so VERY disappointed and shocked by the condition and the curt treatment at the front desk.
