Baymont by Wyndham Abilene

While the staff was super nice, the property needs lots of love inside the doors.

Entire property dirty and unkempt room was supposed to be none smoking but have doubts Room condition was dirty and maintenance was none existent Did not trust that breakfast would be safe

We were a group with 2 rooms booked. On arrival the parking lot had potholes and the building was in need of pressure washing. The hotel said it was non smoking but the lobby and all FOUR rooms smelled of smoke! We refused the first 2 rooms since the beds had hair on them as well as disheveled and bathrooms not clean. Same with the second set of 2 rooms only smell was worse! Definitely will NOT be helping the Wyndham brand with this hotel!

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Many were smoking outside of the hotel. I would not consider this a smoke free hotel. The bed was comfortable and the people at check in were friendly. The hotel room could use some updating.

Disappointed in our stay. The sheets were not clean as they had stains and hair. The shower curtain was dirty and mold towards the bottom. The towels were stained as well. I did not feel comfortable sleeping there but was too exhausted to check out and check in somewhere else. When booking a hotel next time, I will ensure to read reviews prior to booking instead of only trusting pictures.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in…so dirty and nasty inside and out…fire alarm just hanging by wires….upholstered furniture so nasty dirty and sticky…floors were filthy…desk clerk didn’t give a crap about anything…punks hanging around cars…safety of guests not a concern…tv remotes did not work and front desk basically Sid too bead so sad…don’t walk away from this, Baymont, or Wyndham…RUN AWAY!

I had to call the cops for people playing loud music for hours in the parking lot

Good stay but the deposit takes forever getting back to your account.

Room was clean. Loved the plank flooring instead of carpet. Staff was friendly & helpful. Only 3 pillows on king size bed & one of the three was so flat I folded it four times to make it thick enough to sleep on. We did not feel safe. Our room smoke detector battery cover was missing & there were no batteries. Breakfast was a joke, but coffee was good. LOUD party in parking lot until at least midnight. A simple call to police by staff would have easily stop that problem.

Dirty, door was wide open and we were afraid to enter the room, tub bottom was stained black, towels had wads of hair/lint, light bulbs missing, tv remote did not work-we cancelled our 2nd night & left. Crap stuck to the floor. Blah

The experience I had at your hotel was terrible. The plugs in the bathroom did not work. The hairdryer did not work. There was hair in the tub and around the sink. The door did not lock. The wind was blowing and opening the door back-and-forth. I had to prop up a chair against it just so the door will not open. I will never ever ever stay at your hotel ever again, and I will not recommend it. The room was disgusting.

As soon as we checked in and was going to our room we had to witness a man being arrested.

Don’t stay horrible conditions.

At check-in, the lobby was dirty and in this repair. And walking to our room, the swimming pool was full of brown water with trash, floating in it. Hundreds of cigarette butts littered the grounds. When we got in our room, there were cup rings on the bedside table, the porcelain was chipping off the bathtub, there was a pubic hair on the toilet tank, and air fresheners were shoved down into the air conditioner vents to try and mask a bad odor. The adjoining door between our room and the next roomwas then at best and we could clearly hear the conversations of the people in the next room. By all appearances, this hotel is used for drugs and or prostitution. We went to the lobby, immediately canceled our reservation and found another hotel where we did not feel like we would be in danger all night long. The only positive redeeming part of this hotel was the young manworking the lobby who was very courteous and kind. Hotels.com should not even list this place, as no one should stay here ever.

The room had cockroaches and the continental breakfast was subpar.

The area is ghetto. The room was on the back side facing the nasty green pool litered with trash pool. People were out side our room laughing and talking loud. The inside of the room was no better. It smelled bad, there was cigarette burns all over the tub, and the sink faucet sprayed out at you getting you all wet. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Not so clean and seen cockroaches in the room.

When we arrived the property was sketchy and when I went to the front desk it was in poor condition. Went to the room and the door was opened and it looked as if someone had been sleeping in the bed. I didn’t feel safe and I was traveling with 3 other ladies. I would never stay here. I asked for a full refund because it was that bad.

There is nothing that I liked about this place. This is the most disgusting and filthy place I’ve seen. The room had not been cleaned in a very long time, the pool was beyond disgusting. The “clean” towels were yellow and there was food or something all over the walls. The bathtub did not drain. I will never stay at one of these motels again.
