Baymont by Wyndham Anderson

We stayed here for a wedding this weekend. The front end staff was nice and the fact that it was dog friendly with no weight restrictions was a huge perk. Now the room, its very orange and yellow. The floors had really bad staining on them. Half the outlets did not work. The closet didn't have a rod to hang up out clothes. The shower had mold in the grout, the security lock was missing. Our room didn't even have a room number on it. Just overall gave a not clean feel. We turned the sink on to wash our hands and the handle just came off. I thought maybe it was because we were staying in a pet room. But my friends were staying in the spa suite, the wallpaper was coming off the walls, light bulbs were burned out and there was even left over truly cans on the balcony that was left over from a previous guest. We were pretty busy with wedding festivities that we didn't get a chance to use the pool or the continental breakfast. The bed was clean, comfy and the pillow were actually really nice. Half the room was updated and half looks like it hasn't been updated in decades. But felt very much like a Motel 6 with a Baymont Logo.

Checke in paid a 200 dollar deposit first room we went too the lock was broken and the key wouldnt work. Second room we realized we the tv wasnt working. Front desk came up and said she would look for another room for us then called and said it was an issue through out and no one had TV and assured us it would be fixed shortly. Not only was it never fixed but we spoke to multiple people staying there that night all who had Tv. The hot tub was out of order and the indoor pool was freezing. Front desk told us it was supposed to be heated to 89 but was only at 72. No pool towels and only 1 towel in the room. Front desk told us there was a "towel shortage". JUST RIDICULOUS!!!!

Was a little dirty stains on floors.

The bed was very uncomfortable the hot tub was not working and the check in person was very unhelpful.

Check in gal (forgot her name ) was awesome as the last time i stayed. The 2 maids were absolute sweethearts. Wont hesitate to stay there again. Thank u !

The stay was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast could have used more variety. We stayed 2 nights and the first morning the girl working in the breakfast area was very sour and rude! I did not interact with her but observed her being very rude to another quest. She also had her cell phone in her pocket and her case says F..k. That was very inappropriate for work. It was very obvious she didn't want to be there. When it comes to the rooms, ours didn't have hangers or any hooks to hang our wet coats on. The lighting in the room was very odd too. One switch turned on overhead pin lighting all around the room. The only other light was a very dim light between the beds. For the price you can't complain too much. We were also very disappointed that the hot tub was shut down for repairs since that is why we booked this hotel. But if you need a bed when passing through this hotel should work for you if you aren't expecting the ritz.

Great amenities! In room hot tub was excellent! Pool was great! Beautiful room and property. The room needed better cleaning and maintenance. Not informed of the $200 deposit until arrival. Front desk agent at check in was very kind, professional and provided excellent customer service. Front desk agent at check out was very unprofessional. Talking about other staff negatively. And had a negative demeaner. Poor customer service. Breakfast was terrible and there was not enough food provided to feed the customers. Breakfast area was filthy. This is a great property! With a few changes, it would be an excellent motel.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

Probably one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. The whole place smelled like cigarettes and the couple across from us screamed and yelled the whole time and woke us up in the early morning hours throwing up and screaming.

There were safety issues with entrance door missing the strike plate on door frame. The only thing securing the door was the thin sheet metal of the door frame. The security feature on the upper door was missing the half of mechanism that should have been on door. The door strike plate was also missing on door that allowed the adjacent room to be connected. Center of sink stopper missing. Light switch not latching on properly at lavatory counter and also main light switch entering room had same problem. These items were reported to front desk. They were aware of problems and had a list but no maintenance person.

We had a good time and comfortable stay at Baymont.

Smelled funny staff was rude

This property was 45 min opposite direction out of my way, only booked for the hot tub , upon arrival it was broken, tv did not work, shower was not cleaned in months floor was not vacuumed, looked nothing like the pictures online , reached out to the manager for compensation , no response.

My family and I were planning a weekend in Redding to do some shopping and decided to stay at this hotel because it had a jacuzzi in the suites. The front desk was not friendly at all upon arrival. The suite had a strong chemical/Clorox smell, so I called the front desk to ask to change rooms since I have two little girls, and it was affecting their breathing. The front desk seemed upset by my request and told me to open the windows. It was 47 degrees outside, and we were on the second floor, so opening the windows was unsafe for my girls. They gave us a standard room and asked our girls to keep quiet to avoid bothering other guests. At that point, I asked my husband to leave. When I checked out, the front desk didn't even apologize. It was the worst experience we have ever had in our lives.

The room we were put in didn’t have a proper working door and we got locked inside and had to change rooms after already having gotten settled. We were switched to a room nearby but it was an adjoining room and we could hear our neighbors. I don’t think I’d stay here again.
