Close walking distance to the town. Pet friendly & the balcony view on the 3 rd floor was nice in the front entrance. You can also see to the right the face of G. Washington to the right on a clear day. Close to Mt. Rushmore. Crazy Horse, must do the Needles hwy route to see drive thru tunnels, burros, & bison.

There was black mold in the bathroom. This room is not safe. We left a day early because of it and should get a refund for that. But all we will get is excuses.

This place was incredibly quiet! So handy for taking advantage of Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and the beautiful Spearfish area. At night you can view a lit up Rushmore from the firepit area. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean room, indoor pool and hot tub which means it is more likely to be open year round, can be noisy if your room window faces the pool, okay for dogs with a dog area behind the building on the pool side, better than average breakfast, nice coffee/decaf/tea station with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, friendly lobby and breakfast staff.

I booked for a Saturday but wanted a Sunday. I gave 48 hours notice and was told I could change it but there would be a penalty - that turned out to be the full price of the room., They could have waived it but insisted that they wouldn't. The beds were comfortable but the linen was dirty on one bed and the floor didn't appear to be clean. I have also never seen such small pillows. Breakfast was okay but there was a lack of utensils - no spoons and eating cereal with a fork is just difficult. The location was good but staff were obviously overworked and abrupt. Not somewhere I will return to.

Our stay was very good at Baymont! The room was well laid out and like the extra sink outside the bathroom that had a sink also! Really liked being able to walk out straight to parking in the 3rd floor. At night, I could see Mt Rushmore lit up!
