This property is in desperate need of a remodel. Check-in was at 4 but the room still wasn’t ready at 4:30. Understandable after a busy holiday weekend but no apology. The room was missing tiles around the hot tub and there was a dirty towel in the bathroom. We worked around it and didn’t let it affect our stay.

We could see the side view of Mount Rushmore if you looked closely which was cool. However checking in the guy didn't give me any information other than my key card. I had to look up checkout time. I called a couple times to figure breakfast hours and pool hours.

The room was not available when we arrived. The room ceiling had plaster hanging. The ac was very loud. The breakfast was bland. You could see daylight through the ac system. It's close to mount Rushmore which was very nice and if that if theost important thing to you definitely place to go

The room was small, but it was clean and updated. Common areas were well kept and inviting. My only complaint is the bed was a bit hard, not the worst but still not the best night sleep after tossing and turning. Hotel is up on a steep hill, not good for walking to town.

They stopped serving breakfast an hour before the designated time but didn’t post signs or tell any of the people that were waiting assuming the breakfast would be replenished. Rooms were fine but very dated. The bedding for the sofa bed was dirty.
