Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were nice and clean, our room was a little small for 2 people.
We had a room on the first floor near the pool, could hear the kids at night it was a little annoying.
The hallway was warm and smelled like the stuff they put in the pool to clean it, p u.
Other than that we loved staying there. We were there for 3 nights.

Affordable and convenient to Mount Rushmore. Close to store I can walk and enjoy. Not walking distance to Mt Rushmore but just a few mins drive. Rooms were ok. Only one elevator to use. Stairs were confusing to use, but we figured it out.

We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont in Keystone though the overall layout of the hotel is a bit odd. The elevators are in the middle of the hotel so a bit awkward to get to. It had a nice pool area which my kids enjoyed. Overall a decent continental breakfast. It was super close to the town of Keystone but a bit on a hill so walking back to the hotel is a bit of a hike. Also because of how it was built, it doesn't have great parking. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean, though the bathroom tub dripped and could just an upgrade.

Our room was not clean, and the bathtub would not drain (even after cleaning out hair in the drain that was not ours). The breakfast area was not clean as well, and was quite disgusting. The staff was not helpful, or very friendly. We tried checking out early, but was told we had to go through the site we booked the hotel. We were not given the opportunity to speak with a manager at the time we were trying to check out. The agent with experian was very helpful, and he called Baymont to talk with the GM about or situation. She refused to refund us because she said we changed our reason for checking out when talking with her. We never talked to the manager, and what she said we said was not true as well. Experian told us to call the hotel, and try to clear things up. We did, but she wouldn’t come to the phone (even though the girl at the front desk said she was right there). We left a message for her to call us back, and was told she would make she’d call us. The GM never returned our phone to call to work things out. I do not recommend staying at this location.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
My only true complaint was the room view upgrade at least from where we were was not really a view of the Mount Rushmore. 3mikes away memorial from the side of the hotel is not a “view”

This property is in desperate need of a remodel. Check-in was at 4 but the room still wasn’t ready at 4:30. Understandable after a busy holiday weekend but no apology. The room was missing tiles around the hot tub and there was a dirty towel in the bathroom. We worked around it and didn’t let it affect our stay.
